  • what! how did you... damn... I'm from Finland and I can't find Charlies' Buttsocks anywhere and that's a Finnish band... omg I'm jealous...

  • This music is so awesome. It's sweet that you have so many danish bands featured in this vid... or at least some danish bands...

  • @armantraboo just blogspot it

  • Cressida! Omg, one of my favorite bands ever.

  • It's been REALLY hard for me to findthis kind of music. What is this genre called???In Philly, there used to be this show segment on Drexel's 91.7 called the "Moxy Hangout Club". From 6p.m.-8p.m. on Sundays. The show played nothing but tracks like this. The show's been off the air for 2 years until1/30/2011 for one night only!!!So I listened and I fell in love with the show all over again.I hope 91.7 f.m. brings the show back. Thank you lwitchfinder. FAAR OUT!!!

  • Holy crap, I thought I was well versed in Classic Rock, I want to know where you found these

  • This is precisely my cup of meat!

Thnaks very much: many of these I know many I will chase up.

  • Thanks a lot man. I feel like an adopted kid finding his biological parents.

  • Ctapila...among the best, most underrated and original albums...I like each album of these compilations...the only one I didn't know is Morka and they seems really good...

  • the curved air track..whats it called? some killer stuff here fella..good work

  • great sound!!!

  • The Cosmic Dealer is awesome, one of the great Dutch head bands!!

    Nice post!!

  • I don't agree 100% w/ the lyrics comment... The music is what was most important of this era and overall genre of this music... IMO X)

  • Cool collection you've assembled here. A lot of this music is very rare. The early 70s was the best for all the obscure records. Fuzzy Duck is probably my favourite here (well it's the one I'm most familiar with).

Bit of a shame that Necromandus and The Adventures Of Robert Savage didn't get mentioned, but I can't have everything ;-) anyway, an excellent post nevertheless.

  • There's nothing like the 70s! I'm glad to have been there :-)

  • @lsur04 your so lucky wish I could have been there, but the 90's weren't so bad for me, as for this decade.... no comment...

  • only bands ive heard of: dust, frijid pink

  • That affinity song is called Yes man and it's not included in affinity album. It's in "If you live" or in affinity reissue mega hyper box super plus edition. Google says it was called Angel Air re-issue (2002).

  • estoy stoned tambien meeeeeh

  • @Abrohill LOL!! :D

  • @Iwitchfinder meeeeeh stoned estoy tambien 2

  • Blackwater Park- Opeth got an album name from them. And ironically they seem to be the band I click with most on this list. :3 I like a lot of the others too, like Buffalo

  • study? just listen to the music man. ha

  • God I love this stuff ;D

  • Nice post, and you're right...this stuff is "timeless". I still own all of these albums on original vinyl. Just so you know, Youtube does allow us uploads of up to 10:59. I found this out not long ago. So if you plan on making another video, how 'bout adding some;

Primevil, Ancient Grease, Cargo, Flied Egg, Left End, Granicus, Little Free Rock, Charlee, Time, Poobah, Incredible Hog, Lucifer Was, Agnes Strange, Blues Creation, The Norman Haines Band, Jericho, Warpig, Hairy Chapter, Tin House?

  • Charlies Buttocks?????

  • hot rock!

  • Buffalo rules !!!!!!!

  • Very very cool compliation

  • Damn cool list!!

  • The music is totally awesome only that you can't find a lot of these bands or songs on youtube. ... MAY THE MUSIC PICK YOU UP OFF THE GROUND, SEND YOU FLYING AND PULL THAT SPIRAL IN AND OUT OF YOUR FOREHEAD !!!!!! LOL !!!!

  • Sirlordwhitman - You are totally correct about the vocals i agree 100 percent

at least for me anyway the vocals hafto be good in order for me to keep the music i dont care how good the instrumentation is if the vocals suck it brings it right down you need the complete package great music and great singing. Check out

Trapeze with Glenn Hughes and Lucifers Friend with John Lawton those two bands have it all

  • Cosmic dealer sounds pretty legit.

  • Is this real?! The best weed-set ever seen. WOAH!

  • good work getting all these great songs and info in the one place- keep it up - great to listen to !

  • You have some awesome bands posted here, keep up the good work!

  • @pervertedmind salvia sour deisil, lsa and shit loads of cough syrup!

  • @9Iamthewalrus sour diesel coke johnnie walker black d(:

  • Really good

  • Last song.. sounds like the beginning to URSA Major's 'Lay me Down'... anyone notice... eh? maybe not. >P

  • you should have waited until some of the vocals came in... Vocals can really break a band no matter how good the instrumentals are..

  • Please post the whole song by AARDVARK, the sampling sounds uinbelievable!

  • Magnificent, found many great band I have never heard of before.

  • Dude, thank you very much! Real good idea!!
