aah the good old days where you could just roam katoomba those are the days i miss anyways im hoping to come up 2 katoomba within the next week or so i loved the vid =D
Holy cow. I am not joking. I have this EXACT same song on a record from 1986....It's my favorite record, and I didn't even search for this song.
Besides that point, I too have an SR10 and carefully working with it to get used to its interface, color, contrast, brightness and f-stop controls. I'll post something soon regarding it.
OH and also, how in the world did you get the long exposure with the clouds? is there an option for exposure intervals? or did you just leave it recording and increase the speed like 1000% in post?
dont we all. Unfortunately, the original was lost, along with several other kalaniman1 blockbusters. You will all be pleased with the film I am working on now.
If you like doing pull focus shots here's something to consider. The more the iris is open the more shallow depth of field (DOP) is which means less items are in focus (vice versa for closing the iris, everything becomes focused). Thus, buy ND filters to open up the iris of the camera and you'll get improved results. This stratagy works great with cameras like ours because the chips/sensors are so small (1/3'' or 1/4'' in size).
great vid :p, i like the focusing in certain shots, like the slow zoom-out at 2:39 to 2:50, and i also like the time lapses, pretty good vid, 4 stars :)
What editing program do you use?

No problem, good luck with your entry.

Indeed.
I hypothesise over 1000 entries this year, considering all the advertising campaigns on television etc.
All the more competition the better.
A brief synopsis of your film please?
kalaniman1movies 2 years ago
Indeed.
I have just finished shooting my film, and am now narrowing down my 9 hours of footage into a 7 minute film.

How did you get the Sony HD SR-12 to do a time lapse?
gavinms 2 years ago
I filmed my scenery for a long duration of time (30 minutes or so) then simply speeded it up with final cut in post. Voila

you can manually alter exposure in the camera settings. I colour corrected and increased the speed in post to 4000%.
thanks for watching.

Let me guess, you kept no back-up copies of the videos. I have found that this is very common with youtubers
