  • thanks for the request .. Awesome skills! BIG UP! jbx:)

  • Wow. Hair standing on the back of neck... Genuis.

  • Is that a Taylor with Elixir strings - mine just has the most amazing sound - but nowt like the way you can play - outstanding :-)

  • @singleaple Its a Taylor with Dean Markley Alchemy Gold Phos :) Never been a fan of Elixir!

  • @singleaple Elixir's are crap. I used to sell them. D'Addario EXP's are the way to go. Elixirs are coated once the strings are wound.. EXPs have a core that is coated, then a winding that is coated, then coated again after the string has been wound. They sound way better and last way longer. Especially if you clean them after every time you play. :)

  • i love you

  • Nice composition. I like it.

  • that is very super :)

  • Kool Song .. Like your Playing.. I write on a series of left hand Taylors , Peace ..

  • nice song :)

  • Hey, nice playing! Thanks for the add. Might I suggest under equipment you put "purple lava lamp" as well, although I see it is oddly not present in this video. :)

  • @shucky It didn't exist in this video :O haha

  • Beautiful girl,,, I need this same girl

    ammmmoooooooooha

  • BEAUTIFUL !! Keep playin' ... You've got that 'SPECIAL SOMETHING' !

  • AMAZING SONG!

  • It is indeed the same tuning that the songs in August Rush used.

This is really amazing. I could listen to it all day.

  • niceeeeeeeeeee ^^

  • very nice song

  • Guau ....really great Becky, congratulations

  • very nice :}

though it lacks power for my taste

  • Darn good song Becky. I love the resonating sound of open tuning.

Everyone better get all the good comments in while she is still young. A few more years and she will be untouchable!

Kudos to you Becky and your wonderful playing style! Keep it up!!

  • Wow!

  • Sounds great what kind of mic is that ?

  • Outstanding...what tuning did you use?

  • Keep it up! Sounds great! The world needs music now more than ever!

  • Absolutely gorgeous. Love it. Reminds me a bit of Kaki King, but still made it your own. Keep up the great playing.

  • ...excellent...

  • very nice Becky !

  • THanks for contacting us.....usually most other modern guitar players don't give me the pleasure your playing has.

I can feel your soul coming through.

    Nice writing,good song.

  • I like to hear your stuff over the covers. It means more. They're actually better, too! Great work!!

  • Hi, Becky. I'm glad you stumbled upon my page and gave me a chance to listen to your work. It would be really great to hear more originals from you in the closest future. How do you say it, "keep up the good work"!

    Evgeny.

PS: I think, Jimmy Page used this tuning in Bron-Yr-Aur or one of the other oldies.

  • That was great. John

  • Cool stuff kiddo. Keep at it.

By the way, if you haven't already, check out Michael Hedges and Tommy Emmanuel. I think you'd like them.

  • this is so good

    Richard (TFCT)

  • any chance you have tabs for this?

  • ME LIKE ! now me finished watching ME GO EAT COOKIE ! NAMNAMNAMNAM!!!! :D

  • is this august rush/kaki king tuning?

Amazing job. I love playing in drop d, as well as c. Great harmonics and precussion in your song. Loved it!~

  • @dupbr13 I'm not sure... Never tried to play it :) Its in open C. CGCGCE

  • @becky8610 A fun tuning if you'd ever like to give it a shot is FACFCF

  • @dupbr13 I'd be scared of tuning the E to a F xD I bet theres a high chance of it snapping.

  • @becky8610 if you're careful and tune slowly, its well worth it... Here, check some of these out :)

( ill send you a message.)

  • @becky8610 Well tune every string one step down and put a capo on the 2nd fret ^^

  • @becky8610 You should take it really slow when tuning above standard. Strings are designed to allow a whole step above and a whole step below standard. But breakages can still occur. You could also try rubbing lead from a pencil in the nut which provides lubrication for the string to slide through more easily meaning less chances of snapping!

  • Woah, you're really good. I wish I could write fingerpick style songs like that. I'm very impressed, good job!

  • Amazing original songs thanks for the add :) ive been listening to these forever, what tuning are you playing in here/ do you play in a lot of your originals is it DADGAD?

  • @xXmusicman08Xx Thanks :) this is in open C (CGCGCE). My other original is in DADGAD.

  • @becky8610 oh great thanks just curious, the song is great though

  • Great work, love. If you get an acoustic guitar pickup, then the notes would ring out much better and put everything in a level volume. I'm looking forward to hearing more!

  • Musicaly... ...correct :D

  • Great sounding composition Becky!

  • impressive. now i really wish i were this good. i think i'll go practice, now.

  • fantastic! you inspire me as a musician becky...keep it up!

  • Beautiful.

Nothing could be suggested in a personal composition, for it´s your style.

Why did you put this title "Wild Dreams" in this music?

Do you intend to sing a song, to include lyrics on it?

  • @Observeralfa I never intend to put lyrics in my songs, I sing like a dying cat haha. The song was originally going to be called 'A Dream of Mind' But then I kinda changed the song around to sound more upbeat so that title didn't really fit.

  • Vote up for the next Andy McKee

  • awesomeness

  • Very nice, Becky!

    WELL DONE!

  • Wow you have an abundance of talent!

    keep those "wild dreams" alive....:D

  • Awesome tone! Great work!

  • Brilliance!

  • good job and nice composition, becky.
