@justhb I would agree but you can't change the bass of the song, it then makes it not the same song apart from vocals so it then isn't really a cover. Messing with riffs and other things makes sense but not the bassline, the basis of the song.

@justhb you are sort of confusing a cover with a remix xD a cover is taking the arrangement of a song and playing that arrangement how you interpret it, changing the bass chords of a song, tempo and chord structure you are then remixing it, a remix doesn't have to be electronic at all it's just a re-arrangement of a song which is what you described to me, I'm not faulting it on the contrary I like what you did, I was just pointing out it isn't a cover, it's more a remix.
