Just stop with the hate. Here, this sums this up. He works at an animal shelter, they were hurt somehow and are still too young to be put in the wild. All young animals hiss or do something to protect themselves. They will most likely be let back into the wild once they are old enough, if they are too injured to, they will be put in a much better area so they can fly and do there stuff. and he put the video to show people them, so people aren't banging on the cage or stressing them out.

Aw they are cute :) I'm a UC Davis animal science major volunteering at the California Raptor Center and all the baby barn owls there hiss and screech like that all the time. It's their natural behavior. It helps keep predators away..I definitely wouldn't try to eat something that sounded like that O_O haha. So long as they are fed mice or some other small rodents and have a dark place to hide they are fine. I'm glad you found them and could protect them :)

@whatmakesacatacat for your information, this owls will hissing even at leaves that falling down infront them, anything that moves or if they hear something they will hissing and thats normal for baby owls. if i didnt rescue them, wild /stray dogs will eat them alive and if i didnt record this video, i cant educate little kids that come to our park coz i will never let little kids to look at them and make them more scared.. btw.. thanks for your lovely comment..
