If you want to do powermoves you compete in a powermove battle.

If you want to do mpower, threade, top rock, footwork, etc. you compete in an all-around battle.

But don't do power in a footwork battle or vice versa, then you're just stupid and you don't deserve to win.

BTW you where talking to ATN I hope you do realise that. He wouldn't beat you, but he will crush you in a battle, next time think before you write!

I've seen a Bboy do constant threads in a footwork contest. He never made it out of the prelims. Threads isn't footwork or it wouldn't be recognized as a different entity. You can use it in your footwork but to call threads footwork is wrong.

You should talk to a footwork judge.

If we're talking about a footwork contest, repeating moves will get you knocked out. I don't see what you're trying to establish.

The threading Bboy I was referring too used different threads throughout. As soon as he started pulling out threads the MC right away called him out by saying that's not footwork. Hell even the crowd said that.

You can add a thread into a step like a threaded 7. But to use them alone is not footwork.

If you're dumb enough to pull out stuff like 2:09 when Roland steps on his hand during a footwork battle you'll get knocked. Anything that isn't clearly a part of a footwork step will not be counted.

In a footwork contest you can do whatever as long as it transitions into footwork. And really there is not a lot of footwork moves that have gone together with threads. Often it is clearly a thread.
