  • Hell I'd use it for typing at school.

  • How much ram have this pc?

  • @kikou87 I'm not entirely sure if I'm honest. I think its something like 256Mb, but I plan to upgrade it soon.

  • @DAREDEVILS32

    Ok thank you

  • @DAREDEVILS32 If its 150mhz then it may be more like 32mb of ram maybe even 16mb.

  • I remember way back when first discovery Ubuntu. Got the disc free at a pc shop. Windows was messed on my P3-550MHz rig. Had 256MB of ram. I couldn't figure out what to do so I tried out this magical new OS I've new used before. After installation, I used Ubuntu on that pc for a year solid lol. So stable. But for some reason, I cannot get it to run on my newer pc ever since I installed W7. I want to use 10.10 so badly.

  • Amazing how far hardware has come...

  • My mobile phone has a 6x faster processor! :D

  • Slitaz is only 30mb big!

  • cool sound! cool video!!

  • Maybe try Puppy or something a bit smaller cause that boot was SLOOOOOOW!

  • I have Puppy on it now. It works brilliantly, but I can't install it I'm afraid. Hard drive failure you see. But it wasn't that slow. I tried XP on it and it took me an hour and a half to boot.

  • @DAREDEVILS32 I would go with Damn Small Linux the whole OS is 50mb.

  • @DAREDEVILS32 Puppy prefers to run from USB anyhow, and will save changes onto the flashdrive. I figure you know this, but mentioning it for onlookers.

  • @linuxguy2009 well dude it was 150 mhz compared to today's 2000 mhz

  • try DSL... 50mb just for the whole OS

  • 150mhz? really?

  • it can run on less than 50mb of ram too
