now i have never played this game before, this is the first time i have seen it, but to me it looks like the plasmids just give you psychic abilities like electro kinesis, pyro kinesis, and telekinesis. and how come a lot of people always play it on pc?

the game sucks hardcore on Xbox unfortunately. I borrowed it on xbox and hated it, but I'm still playing the pc version to this day.

I wish the the PC had acheivement points though, they look fun!

Yeah you have to have the telekenesis/fire/bolt plasmids to beat the game, the rest of them are your choices for your own playing style. you have to earn (adam) to buy them though. pretty fun game. Might be the best FPS I can think of apart from Perfect Dark but I'm just biased

I just love Gene Tonics!

They are one pillar that keeps Bioshock in part. You can build your own personal character with tonics. hacker, "wrench lover" etc. Kinda strange, that when i remeber Ryan promised 100 ADAM to that one who catches Jack, and Fontaine said that he has all adam, and it was like 500 after player has sucked it out.

the suprise factor sure is there the first time you play :P the guy disapearing got me a tad nervous since I was in water so the zapper wouldn't work cause I'd fry myself and the flames don't work either, he however disapeared and then later comes running out of the cabinet "Stay away from my patients!" and I was like "Alright sir O.O" n then whack his face while running away lol. It's pretty cool what this game can make you do, I'm not one to be scared easaly but at some times this game got me.

Yes, Thompsons had a drum or a box magazine. Box holds about 20 or 30 rounds. The durm holds about 50 or 100 rounds. The game is set in the late 40s and early 50s.

Rapture was founded after World War 2, the game is set in 1960, it's in the intro (Just before Jack arrives in rapture), "Happy New Year 1959", so Rapture became a living hell sometime after December 31st 1958

Well okay,

Basicly,

Splicers are the old residents of Rapture before the city went crazy.

They are citizens who have spliced to many plasmids/gene tonics into themselves and have gone crazy.

Hope i cleared that up for ya. :]

I have a question. When i put the thingies (i forgot what they are called they start with a T and are orange) in the hole, they disappear...? Do i need to click the "place in slot" button?

Tonics? If you choose an open slot, or click on an occupied slot, you'll replace the slot. You can modify your tonics or plasmids at any time at a Gene Modification machine. The machine with the guy flexing on it. They are all around the game, and have a DNA symbol on your map.
