  • I have to say no matter what these officers have to watch over the lowest of the low and in those times their actions are warranted. They are amazing and the reason why those people aren't on your street in front of your house, at your kids school, etc.

  • got more respect for rcmp FUCK THE VPD AND GANGSQUAD

  • toronto, on is still the murda cap of canada

  • @117jaydee Per capita gives undeserving cities bad names. Some cities really don't deserve the reputation as murder capital. One example is in 2008 when Abbotsford B.C. was named murder Capital of Canada with a rate of 4.7 murders but 800 km north the small town of Prince George was not included because there was only 74,100 people there. In Prince George there were 5 murders equaling 6.7 murders per 100,000 T.O. has never been murder capital according to stats Canada. Edmonton is now

  • @117jaydee I thought Edmonton was? :P

  • anyone know where I can download this?

  • one thing i really don't unerstand, why do police go undercover, if they do there job right, they don't have to, thats a real shame to have to do that,

  • @vanhalen515084 because no one is going to tell a uniformed cop hey I've got pounds of drugs over here. Also most people wont do illegal things if they know a cop is right there, if they think the person walking by is just some random person they wont care.

  • "It's roundup time where the good whores meet

Gonna drag one screaming off the street

    And ride, ride, Howie, ride."

  • Hopefully this can be me someday. :)

  • @webovisionca no. if I say "oh Im employed as an officer with X Police Department" when not on official business... especially on the internet there is no legal obligation to produce that information just like there's no legal obligation for you to give me all of your identification on the internet. Yes, Id give you my badge number and name if I was doing official police business but here is not. That is why you are wrong.

  • Judging by some of these comments, I think is safe to say more riot suspects have been identified!!

  • @RockoSDMF Or they're PIVOT lawyers and BCCLA employees.

  • Gawd.....these cops are cool as hell not like the steriod abusing douche bags in the States. Canada is such a better country than America. You people are so much nicer. No attitudes. But yeah this is a drugged out area but it's not really that rough. I'd take the DTES over Philly, NY, LA, Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, etc etc. I love you Canadians

  • We respect good cops. But Cops that have hardly any life experience, who commit crime, should be investigated by the public, who pays their salary.

  • @vinnyhoags Cops also pay taxes. Does that mean they are self employed?

  • Bad training, goofy kid cops, afraid to walk the beat, getting away with murder, investigating their own + no civilians allowed to do so,getting a 9% pay rise, has led to a world wide disrespect for all Vancouver cops and politicians. A Joke.

  • i really like the melodrama that is following this posting

    I LOVE VANCOUVER

    GO CANUCKS!

  • @604Aaron Nothing more than security guards with 7 months training. A F'n Joke.

  • Here's something to think about. Suppose your job was to make quick decisions and use fast judgment. In an already stressful would a camera crew following you around and recording all your actions and decisions really make you do your job correctly? It seems like so much extra stress on these officers for the sole purpose of fame and money... respect to officers risking their lives for the better of the people they are protecting. But I do feel like people act differently on TV.

  • I am willing to bet that the negative commenters on this video were deferred from one or more of the Lower Mainland's police services.

  • @MarcellusPinto Or they're Mounties =P But seriously, they're probably all left-wing anarchists. Life just wouldn't be funny without them.

  • @ZANEandNATHANchannel I live in burnaby and I rarely go DT because I hear things like these. But this show really opened my eyes. I don't ever go alone when I go shopping in DT or go to English Bay. So scary.. :(

  • What a waste of taxpayers money. Police training needs to be totally revamped. This is a disgrace

  • I called the cops for help- and was thrown in the drunk tank, they see a guy in this video needing medical attention, they walk away. I have vowed to never call the Vancouver cops ever in my life. When I was in need off help they locked me up in a room. Being only 22. That experience has changed the way I live. The Vancouver cops took a part of me that night. A happy part. Being 22 and being put under those horrible conditions. Those are not cops. They are hungry for power & everyone knows it.

  • @larahawel okay first of all, they don't just throw ANYONE in jail... second of all, you MUST HAVE HAD something on you that you weren't supposed to.

  • vancouver police>rcmp .....we dont need another 20 years of police force that bends over for us drug policy(with the exception of marc emery but u cant really hold vancouver police responsible, for that they where following orders) and with the recent allegation of the rcmp having memeber sitting there watching a a prisoner gave another aids.

  • @webovisionca That's their job.

  • @VancouverPoliceTV I was pointing out the hypocrisy of the officer putting the new recruit on the spot about her nationality. When she was being hired she was interviewed by proffessional. In my opinion a proffessional doing a 'job' does not mock someone because they have a different race, sex, nationalty, religion... He is representing the 'STATE' of Canada, which has a charter of rights and freedoms. That is what he should be representing.

  • @webovisionca The guy was joking... when your a cop you make fun of each other and giver each other shit about stupid stuff. It has nothing to do with professionalism... However I do understand what you are trying to get at but I do respectfully disagree from experience. When your a cop especially a rookie and you don't get shit from other cops then you got something to worry about;

  • @yellowfungis I also see your view, but in my experience those are the guys that are 'Cpl's for life' or eventually take 'the Joke' too far & are charged although not usually dismissed. As you know, although the media likes to focus on the 'honour' of the people in these jobs, recruitment for police and military is focused on undereducated people who may be finding it difficult getting a 'real job'... so what can you do? I respect HONOURABLE cops; this is demonstrated through actions.

  • @webovisionca And I can also see your view I dont know where your from but here in Minnesota you have to have a minimum of a 2 year college degree and most departments look for a 4 year degree in law enforcement and that weeds out alot of the "bad" cops. I have met a few of the poor cops and i have met cops who have self destructed however the majority of the cops I am friends with and work with are great guys and gals. (part 1 of 2)

  • @yellowfungis I agree I have alot of police friends as well, because I used to be in the military. However its the few odd dickheads who ruin the reputation of the good men who know what their job is.

  • @webovisionca They give each other a hard time because its like a family and you go through a lot with each other so it is like joking around with your siblings. The things you see and experience as a cop changes everyone and humor is a way of forgetting that horror. All in all most cops are good people some make a few bad choices and it tarnishes the name for all the good cops. (part 2 of 2)

  • @VancouverPoliceTV Is it there job to be prejudice and degrading to fellow officers?

  • @VancouverPoliceTV yes the nazis had the same mind state. except the nazis murdered a lot more innocent.

  • @webovisionca

If they all dressed in plain clothes, you'd complain about that too.

  • @webovisionca I dress the same as everyone at my job too. it's a uniform.

  • @webovisionca And that makes it communist?

  • @webovisionca Could you be anymore of a nit wit?

  • @MrHoopla you like big tough men in uniform eh? make you feel safe little pussy?

  • @webovisionca No, maybe it's the fact that I AM an officer of the law that makes my opinion differ from yours. However, this is Vancouver City Police. I'm RCMP, stationed on Vancouver Island. Little different from what these guys are doing. You, my friend, need to learn some respect. Cops like us need to be an asshole at times, and it's your own problem if it offends you. I don't tell you how to do your job, even though I could.

  • @MrHoopla Is this opinion authorized by the RCMP? What's your name?

  • @webovisionca And don't forget your badge number too - because you identified yourself as an RCMP officer it is your duty to provide me with this information.

  • @webovisionca not on the internet and not outside of an occurrence which police are necessary to de-escalate or resolve a dispute or before, during, and after a crime has been committed and during investigation. If you come in contact in-person, sure he must provide that information - but not until then

  • @jorgslice No, actually you're wrong about that, if someone presents themself with the authority of a police officer they are required to prove their identity to you. If they fail to do-so you must assume they are impersonating a police officer.

  • @webovisionca Would you like my house address and dates of birth of my children, too? I'm done here.

  • @MrHoopla Oh OK. So either you refuse to provide the information Name/Badge number, which by law you are required to provide, or you're impersonating an RCMP officer, which is against the law. Either way, you're a criminal.

  • I have no respect for anyone who abuses their authority dickhead.

  • @MrHoopla Stfu pig, you couldn't and can't tell me to do SHIT. Go cry over "fallen officers" you fucking dolt. . .oh hey, I got a question for you. . .in the movie Cary, does it make you cry, you know, the PIGS blood scene?

  • Comment removed

  • @MrHoopla Completely agree with your Comment, I'm Going to college in 1 year to take a policing course to become a police officer, my father is RCMP As well, Good on yah.

  • @MrHoopla You are right. If you are not acting like "an asshole," then the guy with a knife or whatever will have no problem stabbing you. Sometimes you can't show any weakness right?

  • @MrHoopla yes you are right and I never saw what the other person said. But police officer's are human and can lose their temper just like the rest of us, and yet they are protected by different laws it seems. How many times has a officer of the law done something that would put a citizen in prison for a long time and they just get suspended with pay? Though you may be an awesome RCMP officer you have to know there are many more that abuse their power.

  • I recognize a lot of these homeless guys..

  • that rookie cops hot, that bald cop "requested" to show her the "ropes"

  • Keep bring more episodes in their Great

  • interesting video!
