@iHsg16 It's called a backfire. This happens when the ECU causes the engine to run rich on overrun, this excess fuel sometimes ignites in the hot exhaust causing that "gunshot" sound. It stops the engine from running lean (which is bad). It's not at all painful to the car, it stops you from destroying your engine. This is pretty common on all high performance cars.
