I bought some of those bags a while back havent even opened the box so glad to know what to use it for. This is such a clever idea Beth one of your best.
@Gardeninggirl1107 Nope, not at all. And I'm super sensitize to plastic smells and tastes. I often get that with certain types (numbers) of plastic. Tupperware will often do that to me
I get the green giant and birdseye steamer veggie bags all the time. Cook the veggies in the microwave, then toss the package afterwards. That and a burger and fries and you got yourself a meal in about 20 minutes.
@CookingAndCrafting They are really good. We have the cauliflower, carrot and broccoli with cheese sauce one a lot. They even have ones with pasta but the point is to eat something that is healthy so I have only bought the pasta ones a couple of times. The ones with butter sauce is really good too.
im gonna have to try that because its exhausting to try to make omelets on the stove. i always end up not being able to turn the omelete without breaking parts of it anyways lol.
Your videos are always a great study break for me, thanks again for another good one :D. I don't always have time to comment but I do get around to watching most all of them. That omelette came out pretty good, if I could find those bags at a good price (maybe tomorrow), I'd definitely try it out.
@fezan84 I bought a new package today--I think there are ten of them in there and it was $3.36 at Walmart. It will probably be around $2.50 there, I bet. It is always way cheaper on the mainland.
Shut up! Where did you get those bags? I want some of them I have never seen them. DH would love this and I would have less mess to clean. WINNER WINNER chicken dinner.
I have never tried those bags Beth, I will have to look into them for at least the corn idea that you mentioned. Ill bet its much better than boiling it on the stove. You know me I am also always looking for ways to change things up. Thanks for sharing this one with us. HUGS xo

I'm going to get some of these bags, I like the idea of using them for corn as you do. My microwave also has nuclear power ha!, have to cut times because I end up drying/burning up food (can't stand the smell of burnt popcorn - yuk)
Magic! What fun for kids and you can choose the ingredients to suite each one. I've known campers to do that by popping them into a pan of boiling water; it makes it easy for everyone to have their eggs custom without eating one at a time. Nice.
@GothyPingu Lisa is angelbaby10474..she signs her name at the end of her comments, like a lot of people do :) I like it because now I know her name and can address her by her name!
