i bet u will have different perspective when u see the beautiful KA'BAH from top of the tower...one might see as vegas like...and other might see as beautiful glowing of ALLAHS house. all depend on how u look at it..but what i think concept is ok, there is nothing against Quran and sunnah. so all we could do is to make DUAH so that in future no negativity comes to our sacred land and keep it safe from harmful thing...Allahhuakbar ameen

why do they use the icon of the moon? this is reminiscent of a moon god of idolatry. people worshipped the moon in the past. the moon is used for telling the calendar. that's it. they should have put the word God (Allah) on the top above everything, not beneath the crescent moon or other structure.

the half moon or as we call it "Hilal" became Islamic sign lately, I think the reason is that at the end of each month we look at the moon to see if the month completed 30 days or was only 29 days. This is an Islamic calender and Muslims this one in addition to the other one which everyone uses.

The importance of this half moon i believe is that when mostly care about its appearance before/at the end of ramadan, both Eids, and the begging of new Islamic year.

Wow that is one huge and tall building. Strangely it doesn't look that high, like for example, the CN Tower. That tower is tall and thin. Which must mean this tower is extremely large and wide.
