All true, and Benitez is a great natural talent. However I'm not as familiar with El Radar as with these fighters. Before I started making the video, I already knew the footage and what I intended to use. As I was both working and going to school at the time, that was important. I didn't want to research a fighter's entire career if I could avoid it.
Also, I had to take most of my footage from youtube, and I did the original version of this vid in 2008, when there was a lot less to work with.

It's a good video but I didn't really like that you just ripped off of GP's Ali vs Williams upload. I know you used it for a little part but it's not great artistic integrity, and it doesn't make the video look good with a watermark of his name on your video.

Hey Iron Tape, first I want to say that I'm a fan of your work and showing some of the classics in HD.
Second, you're right. Back when I first got started making videos I messaged other creators, (like sitiyzal) before using clips from their works.
Because everyone always said yes I assumed it was an informal agreement to share, and have always been open to letting people use footage from my vids. (I don't have much of a library or the cash for one, so I get my footage where I can)
It's really not that big of a deal. Gorilla is a class act and always tries to help so I'm sure he would be fine with it. I probably shouldn't have said anything because from what I know the guy is always helpful and probably wouldn't have any issues.
At the same time It's always good to make sure because you never know. Credit is fine, pulling down is unnecessary. I'm glad you enjoy my work. I enjoy your videos which do a wonderful job showing the skills, ability, and power of fighters.
However, despite any of that, I should have checked with Gorilla (who I have a lot of respect for) before using his footage.
To make up for that, I've since messaged him, and if he has any objections I'll pull this video and use substitute footage. If he's OK with the footage, I'll credit him in the info section with links to his videos.

@slimithy12 dam you speakin the truth....pac is a skilled fighter but floyd is too smart and too technical. hes gonna take him out of his game plan and make him fight his fight. i wouldn't be suprised if floyd turns it into target practice like he did with shane mosley. pac will fall victim to floyds counter punchin the entire fight.

i agree. i think he was left out for the same reason tyson, marciano and many more were left out. they were all great fighters more then great boxers. naseem 's boxing looked great against weak fighters but as soon as he fought bigger and better fighters he had to brawl to get the victory. all these guys could use their boxing skills against anyone, no matter how good or bad they were. but naseem was still a great in my view.

Not to speak ill of the dead, but Arturo Gatti would have never made this clip as a boxing natural...as defense obviously was never his strong point, judging by the way he got hit with FOUR consecutive straight hand rights courtesy of Mayweather Jr....just terrible. But Gatti was definitely a tough fighter, no denying that.

@m0neymayweather ..... I do not totaly agree. Manny, very talented, but I tend to get the idea his skills come more from ridulous hard training, not so much his talent.
That doesnt mean that Ali and Roy nevered trained, because they trained their ass off to become the way they were, but i can see that boxing comes more natural to them.
Bottom line is, Manny very talented, but Ali's talents is from another level.

It's a good video but I didn't really like that you just ripped off of GP's Ali vs Williams upload. I know you used it for a little part but it's not great artistic integrity, and it doesn't make the video look good with a watermark of his name on your video.
Other than that good footage, clips, and concept man.

Hey Iron Tape, first I want to say that I'm a fan of your work and showing some of the classics in HD.
Second, you're right. Back when I first got started making videos I messaged other creators, (like sitiyzal) before using clips from their works.
Because everyone always said yes I assumed it was an informal agreement to share, and have always been open to letting people use footage from my vids. (I don't have much of a library or the cash for one, so I get my footage where I can)

It's really not that big of a deal. Gorilla is a class act and always tries to help so I'm sure he would be fine with it. I probably shouldn't have said anything because from what I know the guy is always helpful and probably wouldn't have any issues.
At the same time It's always good to make sure because you never know. Credit is fine, pulling down is unnecessary. I'm glad you enjoy my work. I enjoy your videos which do a wonderful job showing the skills, ability, and power of fighters.
