From my understanding, a lot of Asian branches of fast food restaurants that originated in America are considered to be more upscale restaurants. A friend of mine from Malaysia came here and visited a 7-11 and was shocked at it-- the ones where he grew up are nice stores. Fast food restaurants are visited as "special occasions", not for every day, so they host birthday parties or whatnot there instead, so the branches tend to be higher quality.

@acting303 Well every country puts a cultural flair on chain companies' menus. A lot of places fry in peanut oil, some add sriracha sauce, others do way more seafood, others add peanuts. American fast food seems to just be focused on producing as much as possible as quickly as possible.

I'm from Canada, use of steroids in industrial farms is illegal, cloned meat is rare and is not readily available in consumer markets. I was at San Salvador for a 2 of weeks then went to Usulutan for another 2 weeks. My nationality is Greek and I know what local farm fresh produce taste like. High grade meat in El Salvador is exported from Canada, my wife is Salvadorian and she prefers the taste here.
It's pretty unusual. I went to Middle School and High School in Beijing, and this is definitely what the Pizza Huts are like there. I've had their escargot, and it's actually pretty good. Unfortunately, the pizza is horrible, and incorporates a lot of truly bizarre ingredients. That said, it's something of a status symbol to be able to dine there regularly, and the prices are actually considerably higher than in the USA.
Is that a surprise? That what you have to come up with to compete with world famous Chinese food in their home market. I think all the international fast food chain offer better meals and more variety of food in Chinese market than anywhere else in the globe.

I know a trip away from your home country seems amazing especially if you look down on your country but you should know, no matter where you go pizza hut is not that amazing, try looking at the traditional cutlure insted. I think you'll get more out of it.

@mymovienerd Thank You!!!!!!!!!! I'm from youngstown ohio and which is in Northeast Ohio about 10 minutes away from the Pennsylvania border. I moved to Indiana and the Pizza and Italian food suck! I tell them how bad it is and the're like it's just as good as where you came from. With that being said, they regard pizza hut as the good pizza. I'm glad someone else has a sense for good food.

I live in the USA but when I visit El Salvador, Pizza Hut taste better: actually everything taste better and the service was great too, I wish Pizza Hut gives us the same quality in the states

But I really tasted a huge different in food taste from USA vs E.S. But I just thought what it was... and my answer is farming. So. if you say that Mc D had the same taste? Than I guess you are use in eating clone meat. North America uses clone or modify meat in their food therefore I understand your opinion about E.S's food

I'm from Canada, use of steroids in industrial farms is illegal, cloned meat is rare and is not readily available in consumer markets. I was at San Salvador for a 2 of weeks then went to Usulutan for another 2 weeks. My nationality is Greek and I know what local farm fresh produce taste like. High grade meat in El Salvador is exported from Canada, my wife is Salvadorian and she prefers the taste here.

It's pretty unusual. I went to Middle School and High School in Beijing, and this is definitely what the Pizza Huts are like there. I've had their escargot, and it's actually pretty good. Unfortunately, the pizza is horrible, and incorporates a lot of truly bizarre ingredients. That said, it's something of a status symbol to be able to dine there regularly, and the prices are actually considerably higher than in the USA.
