I have tried to buy the full body kit of INVISIBLESHIELD. I was amazed because after more than 12 hours after it was installed on my iphone, i tried to scratch the back with my nails...THERE ARE SCRATCHES MADE...a lot...because i watched youtube videos they kept on scratching...so i tried to scratch a lot with my nails many times. But there are a lot of scratches. I am sad and wonder if it won't work with nails...try on your invisibleshield if you have long nails scratch it.

the videos on the actual product site are better in my opinion. they show the "key" test, a test with a lot of coins pens and keys in a box with the ipod and they shake it thoroughly, and also another pen test where they have some athletes and fans try to jam a pen through the material after an arena football game. no one succeeded in breaking the shield, in fact it broke some of the pens that were used.

yes, you can. it's designed not to leave adhesive when you take it off, but unless you purposely take it off, it will stay on for a long time. it won't peel up on it's own.

i have an invisible shield for my 30 gig iPod video and my motorola razr cell phone. both work very very well and have no scratches on them at all. andyrik, youre an idiot. ive had many many different cases for my numerous iPods and cell phones, always resulting in various degrees of scratching etc. this is the only one that has ever truly worked and the beauty of it is very small so you can still use another case on it if you wish.

This is good stuff, but the invisibleshield kit is a total ripoff. it's a plastic made by 3m called 'scotchgard' - the 8mm thick version. you can buy it by the sheet for much cheaper: i use it to cover everything i don't want scratched - lcd screens and so on. also, the 'special applicator solution' is a joke: all you need is rubbing alcohol, or a glass of water with a drop of dishwashing soap.

I disagree! I work for the company, so I thought I'd clarify this and add my 2 cents. The biggest complaint people have about their gadgets (especially the new iPod nano and video) are the scratches! You're not likely to drop your $300 investment, but scratches are impossible to prevent without something like this.
