no, ktm owns polaris. ktms are better than all the jap bikes. they come with better brakes, and magura clutches. they are lighter and produce way more power. the only reason why you dont see them in mx is because FACTORY KTM doesnt want to put the money towards contracts for the big names like stewart, reed, villopoto. they care about gncc, national enduro, worcs/desert, dakar rally type of racing. not groomed and watered tracks, that shit is pussy racing

ktm's dont handle nearly as well as any japanese bike. sure they make some more horsepower, and have nice breaks... and i do miss my hydro clutch, but lets face it, the lack of linkage REALLY makes a difference in setting the bike up...

and no, its most definitely NOT pussy racing... you really shouldnt say that, if you've never tried to race one of those...

the WHOLE way through... it ain't easy!

yes i agree, the linkage and handling will never come close to a jap bike, but ktms ride better when being riden faster. i know some people that can really do good suspension work on the WP forks and shocks

got it...so you know...we use the bike sound every time we can...when bike sounds are not used it is because we could not get a clean recording of it...but we use the real sound when it is good.

brownracing29...you know it is hard to focus on other riders other than RC and James. As much as we like guys like 14,12,118,15, and 26...it is hard not to tell the story of 4 and 7 each time we go to a race. All cameras are focused on those two and we are just as guilty. It will be interesting to see how things change without RC next few races.

We shoot only in HD now...but I am not sure if we have the means to produce an HD DVD yet...I will look into it...it will be up to NFMX to decide if they want to do that.
