dude i was wondering if i can use the camo suit caus you using it and nateoak10 says can i use stealth camo and you said no but your using the automatic stealth camo suit

@thisismeee1 - You can't use Stealth Camo; he was using Octo-Camo. There is a difference. Octo-Camo just blends you in somewhat; Stealth Camo is an unlockable item that literally makes you mostly invisible, and gives you a stratospherically high camo rating permanently, for as long as you have it equipped. You can't use Stealth Camo for Fox, Foxhound or Big Boss; but you can, by all means, use Octo-Camo.

@volsoner NO dont shoot the barrels, and type of kill is counted as a kill. for the cycle i used the double barrel shotgun and stun grenades on enemies that are grouped up

@jalembalo - As far as I know, not strictly; however, doing a "pure" evasive playthrough would be ridiculously difficult and needlessly complicated; Big Boss requires a zero-kill count, so it's probably best to use those weapons. However, I am myself no expert; I have yet to do a Big Boss run (in fact, I'm just starting my Fox run). That being said, I have done some research. Hope this helps :)

you can do both, as long as you dont use special items if u load from epilogue, like stealth camo, patriot, e.t.c

if you want the big boss emblem you cant uses active camo either- the best way is to wear the suit and move slowly but efficintly

is that ok to do so long as you dont die ..

i thought you had to play continuously for 5 hours or less to get it ..

Look out for snipers up above, they can easily see you (Take them out). As long as you keep to the left, and crawl on the floor with the right tranqing you should be fine.

@volsoner actually chaff doesnt completely knock otu a gekko, it just takes it long range sensors out, i reccomend using a empty magazine on them so they get distracted by that, an even better choice would to use the rail gun, a full charge with that will instantly kill a gekko, tho it usually results in a caution so wouldnt use it one after another on multiple gekko

If you kill somebody, or die, you can get the emblem if you saved beforehand, go to the main menu, and re-load it. It's frustrating and time-consuming, but doesn't count for continues/kills/time.

Tip: at the very start when you pick up the ak, shoot off a clip, grab another ak off the ground and reload. itll give you an empty clip. at the start of this video, when you see the 2 pmcs, throw the empty clip and wait until they start walking then bolt it immidietly up the street and take the door on the right as the tank full of enemies is pulling up. u dont get the animation of them coming out of the tank, and its way faster.

Those tv shows at the beginning arn't skippable, but they only add like 2 minutes I think, either way you fucked up somewhere else

just stay under the tank and kill FROGS...wolf is bound to show up sometime..when she does shoot her with svd 3 times in the head and when she charges shoot her down with grenade lancer..it took me almost 15 mins in extreme to beat her that way but i got no alert...as for kill...thats another story(use mosin nagant)

i learned a few nifty tricks from you in this video, but (and now i haven't tried to do a speed run so i dont know exactly how much time you have) you can cut a good minute or so off of your first cutscene when the truck drives in if you prone-dive into that crawl space without waiting for that patrol, then theres only one guard after you come out.

ok wow ppl....its not that complicated...ALL the weapons that are blue (except like magazines and playboys) tranquilize the bastards....... use lethal on 1st stage against all BB Corps then the mk on the last...i will say that this is the hardest damn task i have ever had in a game... but i am up for the challenge...the only problem i really must overcome is how to hold up a bunch of guys for tranquilizer ammo and still do it that fast....

You can use lethal weapons for the FIRST form of the B&B core, Vamp can be easily stamina drained, and Rex/Liquid are must-kills so they don't count

Got to get Act 1 done in 20-30 minutes.

Act 2 in roughly 30-40 minutes (the Frogs before the boss can be a problem and you have to know where to go when tracking Naomi)

Act 3, everyone time on this should be fairly similar.

Act 4, really quick if you have some Chaffs, the boss can be a right bugger though especially with high stress and no psyche

Act 5, this is also pretty quick, Stun Meryl with the knife instantly and shoot the Sorrow doll first which means you wont be shot at by the dead..

I'd never try to get this emblem its an impossible task in my world. I myself had played The Boss Extreme I had 72 alerts! and 66 continues! and over 300 kills! XD. Anyways great video =D

Don't let her grab you and use a tranquilizer gun. The guns that are orange are lethal and the blue ones are non lethal.

Except during 'The Boss Extreme' you can not buy any Tranq ammo from Drebin and the enemies rarely drop them (unless you use the Solar Gun which is only advisable on dead and knocked out enemies as Snake shouts while using it)

If you do it straight on new game you cant use the good weapons to beat it quick. And if you just load it up and select new game you can beat it with all the good weaps so you lose your cred for getting BB emblem.
