@maciejek11l I don't agree with you. From the 'outside' 7 looks very similar to Vista, but when I compare these systems on performance 7 is A LOT better. XP was better than vista with most things but 7 rags over Vista and XP together if you check performance. For the rest part, you're quite right. They deliver the same product with some visual updates, but a lot of performance updates. I think it is worth it.

If 7 does this when you run it, get better hardware or make sure you have the version that's intended for your system specs. Home runs better on Laptops, Ultimate runs better on Desktops. Don't go 64-bit unless you plan on having more than 4gbs of RAM. If you don't know what you're doing with technology take a class or have a professional do it.

You know Open CL, Mac's brand name for a method of placing more tasks on the video card? That's already integrated to 7. And aero shake takes a step from buttons and begins to use gestures. Windows already performs on multiple cores and GCD is a long time coming. It was a certainty for 10.6
