  • Hey--I have a suggestion. What about just dampening your hands with the water-based moisturizer then smoothing it on the ends of your hair in sections, so that your hair won't get saturated but will be slightly damp, then seal that section with the oil of your choice, then baggy the ends for a few hours (a plastic sandwich bag with a ponytail holder keeping it on). HTH.

  • @epiphanybella Thanks so much. I did moisturize the ends with shea moisture deep treatment masque and my hair is feeling and doing so much better now. Thanks so much for all your suggestions and ideas. I think i'll still try your advice and with bagging the ends. I truly am greatful for you taking time out to share your ideas with me. It means alot. Thanks again . Happy New Years to you and your family.

  • That's funny, I talk about my hair like it's a person too. I catch myself saying that my hair "is not happy" or "Being difficult". LOL The twists look good!

  • @vonnababy2 LOL i know right. It talks to us if we listen and i try to give it what it wants and what it needs. If i do It grows like i like it to. So glad you like the twist. Happy New Years to you.

  • you can put a water based moisturizer and stretch it while it dries, so that it doesn't shrink. Yo can put you moisturizer on then doa big braid with your twists or put in a bun

  • @afrikurl Thank you so much . I just moisturized my ends with my fav shea moistue deep treatment masque and im pleased to say me and my hair are satisfied with being in this blow dried state. I really appreciate you stopping by and commenting. Happy New Year's to you.
