I cannot copy the blues masters like you two, but i believe i have forged my own style, with vibratos kind of deep and slow like Albert. Alex and I thank you! You are so fortunate to have had a chance to see Albert King! He died when I was 22, so I really have no excuse for not having made more of an effort to catch one of his shows. I was lucky enough to see SRV the summer before he passed away, and it was through him that I discovered Albert.

Yes, a Delta/Duane Allman style tune would be a great way to go. Stay tuned, it could happen!

Alex plays a Fender Stratocaster plugged into an Orange combo amp. I don't think he's using any effects. If you check out his profile (username "Alexorangeblues") he should be able to give you more details.

It's nice to see you finger pickin' that Les Paul. I'm inclined that way as well. String poppin' John Lee Hooker style is fun on a LP as well. Tasty phrasing... it's what you don't play that counts. This cyber jam idea is great. For my attempt at a similar thing with blues using a looper you might check "A Little Blues" on my site. Thanks.

Yes, that's the best way to get the Albert King tone - using bare fingers. I love Albert's style too. He could squeeze so much emotion from just one note.
