Also One says that the Father was once a man and now is an exhalted man (The King follet discourse and the Snow couplet) while the other says God has always been God. Those are different ontologies.

@ProphecyProvesHim The "we" is the apostles of Christ, who were preaching a gospel of WORKS, of following the LAW of Moses, for the gentile converts. The angel is no particular angel but is hyperbole. It certainly was not speaking of the "angel Moroni". Besides, it says ANGEL (messenger) from HEAVEN (from God), so you must be admitting that Moroni WAS a messenger FROM GOD.

Also One says that the Father was once a man and now is an exhalted man (The King follet discourse and the Snow couplet) while the other says God has always been God. Those are different ontologies.

PS It might actually sound like MIKE is harsh the way he "starts off" responding to this young man's profession of Mormon upbringing--if you don't understand they'd already been talking for 15 minutes before the start of this film clip.

Continuing post... This was a party street scene (6th St in Austin) & one might guess he's had a drink or two; he's talking quite "freely" (and we were glad he was open & candid with us-Hopefully new ideas were presented to him that God will bring to His remembrance!) Anyway, the bottomline is that he's unsaved, and we all have sinned in a MYRIAD of ways before salvation! Plus he initially came up to us as (at best) an agnostic...
