  • Stainless steel gets lot of attention. Even my college peers that aren't into watch asks how good it looks

  • Bro I got an advice for you just stop this conversation coz you'll never win it, fake is fake nothing else to say... check out watch forums and see what they'll say to you when you start saying fake. I don't wanna be the one to say it coz its Christmas :)

P.S I dont have a Folex story, but I do have a GMT master 16700 pepsi bezel about 15years old watch story.

  • @ Zacharyleon: not sure where you goin with this, but I don't act like I can afford it because I can :) I wear it because I like it not really because of the time since we all look at our cellphone... My point is if you can't afford it why buy a fake one? Isn't that being a fake?? You are deceiving people! When you can buy something that you can just afford, there are so many brands that is affordable to you Ex. Armani, Hugo boss, Citizen, seiko and casio etc. which are pretty good and less ex

  • @seek3r14 But how does buying a fake watch make a person fake themselves? If you buy a fake rolex, and go around telling people it's real, then yes, you are faking it and deceiving people. But if you buy it because you like how it looks and when someone asks, you tell them it's fake, does that still make you "fake"? If I happen to love the way rolex's look, and I go buy them on a minimum wage salary, I would think THAT would make me fake as an individual. As well as an idiot lol.

  • @seek3r14 And I get what your saying. I like Bulova's, and I can afford them, so that's what I buy. I'm strictly talking about watches that the avg. person cannot afford. I think it would be a fun story too talk about how you got your "folex" too. As long as you are honest about what you are wearing, that shouldn't make you fake.

  • @ Chuckknight, your absolutely right, spot on :) Be Honest!

  • I agree with OAOAMATE!

  • @seek3r14 So buying a watch to act like you can afford it isn't fake?

  • 1.steel cogs inside watch = $1.00 2.steel caseing outside watch $3.00 3.steel strap $5.00 sub total=$9.00 A solid gold or platinum watch case 30g = around $3,000 A solid gold or platinum watch strap 50g= around $5,000 steel cogs inside watch=$1.00 total real price of watch $8,000 In other words... a steel watch of any kind is a total rip off when it comes to anything over $400, But a gold or platinum watch really does hold its money worth. just buy a fake steel watch & buy a real gold one
  • I own a Tissot PRC200 ($300) - not expensive, but useful. It shows your tastes and sense of style. I believe that you should wear what you like or afford. I would by a replica because I like the looks and don't care what others think. I'm not trying to mislead anyone, so don't call me a fake! I wear it because it's A LOT less expensive, but it is what it is. I'm not trying to prove anything...but those whose spend $2-5k just to impress people-are fake people to me!

  • Thats what happens when you wax your nose

  • Im a subscribe this is awesome

  • I say expensive watches are for fake people. People who are trying to prove something and have to resort to material objects to overcompensate for it. All these people complaining about fake models and whatnot are just mad b/c they wasted $1000s of dollars on something so trivial and don't like the fact that such an investment can be stifled by others who were spent significantly less.

  • What do you think of G-shocks ?

  • @guivs Probably not something to brag about, there man. G-shock is by no means a "Lady magnet". Stainless Steel, understated, stylish and ANALOG are definitely things to looks for in a good all round watch.

  • Great upload! Learning how to properly wear a watch can prove an effective way of accessorizing and enhancing your image. Informative and entertaining again. Keep 'em coming!

    PaceShave*com

  • Fake Watches are for fake people!

  • @oaoamate So apparently if you're a middle-class man with a middle-class watch, you're a fake. Weird. I guess spending money on a watch that is more expensive than the average person's car makes you real. You sir... are fucking dumb :)

  • I always wear a watch, fuck phones.

  • Fake watches are for fake people and after 4 mins and 20 secs, you summed it up. (I couldn't listen to any more of his dribble) What a tosser. This guy has got fake written all over him, glad he is not my friend, but then he wouldn't be.

  • Tag's are shit

  • I have a Gucci watch that´s white gold with yellow gold trim and a white face. What can I wear it with? cost me 850 bucks at costco about 5 years ago.

  • Holy shit, I have the same style and color design of your replica Rolex but mine is Citizen. We have similar tastes

  • The first thing I actually noticed was the irony that your channel is about giving advice about how to be an alpha male, and that you have earings :-S. Ooo kayyy...

  • Funny vid I couldn't agree more " GTFO" with a 10k or whatever it is watch

  • Instead of wearing a faux Rolex I would rather wear a real "lesser" brand especially since I am the one who would know. I got an Omega Seamaster stainless steel which I love and wear on all occasions. I also recently bought a low-end Movado which I think is a good dress watch. I am the son of a watchmaker so I do like watches. The best deal he says in watches in terms of quality and price are the Swiss Army Watches, fyi.

  • i like ur shirt

  • its funny cause i looked this up cause i was wondering when did ppl stop wearing watches! this guys seems to make sense on alot of shit including psychology behind wearing one and spending money labels.

  • Fakes are just that...fakes. And, they're to be avoided.

Good watches cost a bit of money, for a reason. There are bargains to be had, and buying used is a GREAT way to save some money. I actually troll the flea markets, and have a great watch collection.

Buy a good watch. Seiko, Invicta, Bulova, Citizen, etc. These are excellent brands with genuine credibility, that are HONEST. I collect Russian watches. Beautiful, and a conversation starter.

Nice does not mean expensive. Be honest.

  • @chuckknight also...Hamilton watches.....cant go wrong with them.

  • @tushar310 Classic brand, and beautifully made. Can't go wrong with a Hamilton, either new or vintage. Good suggestion!

  • i didn't notice at all about u being tired even after u pointed it out

  • Very interesting subject being that I do a WATCH BLOG here on You Tube. I collect all type of watches and with my subscribers I present to them affordable GREAT time pieces that save them money (in which I agree with you on that point) . I think watches (like everything) is an investment - and of course its a nice little bit of luxury like say - buying a new pair of jeans or a neck tie. A watch is a watch, it basically just to tell time - thats my motto!

  • interfacewatchescom

  • I knew a person who owned a real Rolex and still only wore a knockoff out in public. I personally don't understand it myself.

  • I dont agree with buying fake stuff I dont care about impressing anybdy but when I look down I know im looking at a fake piece of shit and that doesnt work for me

  • as soon as i can afford it, i'll be hoarding Omegas. i get their catalogs in the mail and almost all their watches make me drool. they're pricey but not so much that you're obviously paying an extra $5-10k just for the name, like another brand i know of...

  • I think if you cannot afford to wear an authentic piece of anything than you shouldn't wear it at all, especially a fake. Its all about pride of ownership. Think about it, out might be a great conversation piece...until its authenticity comes into the equation followed by humiliation

  • Seiko is one of the best "bang for the buck" watches out there. Their mechanical watches garner compliments from the more horologic-ally inclined individuals and you won't need to lie to yourself everyday you put it on.

Honestly though, I think spending the money is worth it. You can get a pre-owned Submariner or Seamaster for a respectable price these days.

  • $15k is nothing. ive seen watches that go for over $600k. Trust me they're worth it!

  • LOL...u said GET THE FOCK OUT OF HERE...that was awesome.

  • Your hilarious. I own 15 watches! So take that!

  • It's really easy to tell real from fakes...a real rolex watch has a mechanical movement, so the second hand moves smoothly. The most important thing about a watch is the movement...its why rolex's are so expensive. Any person worth impressing would be able to tell the watch is fake

  • I have a one of a kind titanium Bulgari tourbillon. it's by far the most expensive watch in my collection, but the sheer number of compliments I get for it make it worth it. would I buy a fake watch?? Not in a million years!!

  • i rock g-shock all day baby!!!

  • The cyclops (the bubble over the date) on your Folex has a magnification of one and a half. By contrast an authentic Rolex has a magnification of two and a half. That is the easiest way to draw an accurate conclusion as to whether or not a Rolex is authentic. To say it can't be told apart from a real one is demonstrably false. Another quick way to tell is by submerging the watch in a glass of water, the vast majority of fakes leak, as they do not have a proper screw down crown.

  • @TheArthurU The average person would be none the wiser, but if ever you run into a luxery watch enthusiast and try to pass it off as an authentic Rolex, you'll find yourself in a spot of embarrassment .

  • @TheArthurU Who exactly is about to put your watch in a glass of water?

  • He goes get fuck out of here LOL nice I love this guy

  • Luxury goods should match your lifestyle. A self respecting man will not buy a fake watch. If you don't have the funds, there are plenty of great watches out there that don't infringe another company's intellectual property.

  • I fail to see why people are hating on fake watches. If you're able to buy something stylish that people would mistake for a designer brand so much the better. You save yourself $5,000.00 and still look awesome.

Having money does not equate to having style.

  • o and btw thats a fake rolex

  • show the watches not your face.....

  • haha i love your humor lol im thinking about getting nikon thats 400$ ? is it worth it yes no maybe? idk but its kickass it has a large face and its all white

  • I stumbled upon your videos after searching for guy fashion videos on here because I like fashion. I just wanted to compliment you on your videos. They are both entertaining and informative. I have like 10 videos lined up on my internet tabs ready to watch right now. It's gonna be a long night. Thanks buddy! :)

  • First of all, I want to complement you on your series of videos. I think you've got some really great style ideas and I agree with most of them completely. I have a major problem with this one though. No fake watches or fake anything else. Style is about who you are as well as how you look. No short cuts allowed. If you can't afford a Rolex, don't rock one. Pick something in your budget and/or save up for the Rolie. You'll feel better about it in the end. Keep up the great work bro.

  • what do u think about G-Shock watches?? Just curious if they're in style? :)

  • Guys check out 121time(dot)com You can create your very own swiss watch. The prices are at regular retail price, so prices will vary from around $200 to over $500.

  • nice woman in benaughty page benaughtyman.info

  • ive gotten so many compliments with my 90 dollar fossil watch ;)

  • subscribing to this guy, im a dude who just doesnt give a fuck about style..

but now im giving a fuck!

wanted to bash you at first, but you seem a nice guy

  • This chap is a STYLE guru??? Wanna wear a watch? Yeah, just get some old piece of shit and put it on your wrist? A fake Rolex? Why not. NO No No. You either have, or you do not have STYLE. Sorry pal, you aint got it.

  • this guy thinks like I do

  • The first watch looks like something from an aeroplane cockpit. No thanks.

A person who wear a fake/repicas/counterfeit watch, says to me that person maybe a fake.

  • hey aaron i have a watch with a brown/black faded face and brown scaled straps. its very dressy and looks great i havnt gotten round to wearing it as it was recently bought for me as a gift. what i wanted to ask you was if you could wear this or any nice watch casually or should you only wear it with a nice outfit? alternatively what sort of style watch can you wear casually?

  • he said dog shit :0

  • @efcdk92 I know right? Like OMGOMG! xD

  • My father works at some Rolex factory... And even though he has like 70% off some watches, they're still so expensive he couldn't get one for me.

He got me a nice Tissot watch. The colour isn't that good because it's "golden" and a "silver" watch would have been better for me, but it's still damn awesome.

By the way, there are plenty of very good brands other than Rolex, which aren't that expensive.

  • Fake watches are mostly for fake people. You can put yourself in a Breitling for under 2k, and you could put yourself in a real nice high quality Seiko, like there F1 watches for a couple of hundred and it will look good for 10 years without the crystal getting all scratched up. If you can't afford new, go on Ebay, and buy something decent. Btw, you can tell especially on the watches with rotating bezels if they're fake, but some of the Fauxlexes are tough. Stil, fakes are for the toupee set.

  • @AlessandroVolta1 'Ebay' You're kidding right? Buy a watch on Ebay, it's bound to be a fake.

  • Watches, sun-glasses, rings, belts, ties, cuff-links - It's all the same idea behind it. If you own several of these in different colours and styles then you build up a collection of looks that are uniquely put together. Sometimes it's not always the clothes that finish off the look but the accessories.

  • @ilabstudios, People are also focusing too much on price and wearing "fake" watches when at the end of the day it's how it looks that counts. Celebrities where vintage pieces of jewellery that they find in markets etc. and are all cheap in price but they all look expensive. - It just depends what you get and how you wear it. (If you're confident in yourself who cares)

  • @ilabstudios

absolutely right its about confident in yourself

  • @ilabstudios Nice vintage watches can be pretty darn expensive, because good stuff is always worth something, while the fake junk just becomes worthless.

  • Hey Aaron, How often do you go shopping in general for all clothing?

  • hey aaron, what do u think about G-shocks?

  • @lampard202 i second this question: "what do you think of g-shocks?"

  • @lampard202 G-shocks are IMO great sports watches, however myself I would not wear one with a suit, for a job interview, or in a formal setting. Here I would avoid anything which is obviously plastic or rubber.

  • I wear a watch on my right hand. I tried to wear it on my left and found it uncomfortable. I am a right handed person and still feel more comfortable wearing the watch on the right hand. Is there some kind of rule that I can't wear my watch like this.

  • Comment removed

  • this guy is funny...love it dude

  • I can tell the difference between Oakleys and "Foakleys"...but I'm sure they're both of equal quality.

  • 5:50 "nya biiitch" LOL

  • hahah your a funny motherfucker!!

  • I have a watch with leather band and i was wearing it for about 2 weeks and it somehow started to smell like dog shit is there an explanation for this happening?

  • @alpergumussu either poor leather..or you wore it until it became ripe.

  • @golden79 poor leather definitely becouse it happened after a week or 2. can you replace it by quality leather?

  • @alpergumussu Sure. Go into a department store that sells higher priced watches( Most of the time if a store sells decent watches, there are usually quality watch accessories available.)

  • @golden79 ok i know just the place. thanks alot!

  • Great videos. I use them on my husband. He loves it when i do his nails, brows and and overall grooming. Keep them coming.

  • I love it when you digress sometime but you always get back on track :)

Has anybody told you that you look a bit like Patrick Dempsey?

  • when you wanna know if it is a rolex or a folex, lok at the date magnifcation, just when he showed his folex the date was a little small a at a rolex it his jumping in your face, real

  • another video with detailed watch advice is needed. You covered fashion and fake/real rolex. there is so much more to watches than that.

  • i swear i spotted the fake rolex before he said it...

u can tell that its fake coz the date is not magnified really well...in original rolex it will be almost jumping at ur face...its that magnified...

  • men great vid!!!! love it!!!

  • You say Gold watches are dated, but I feel that style of stainless is also dated. And I think it is actually tacky for casual wear. At most it is a dress watch. And if you are going to have one it really should be something like a Rolex. Leather has such range. There are many premium high class leather styles, then you get the rugged leather wide band casual styles. Metal watches are overdone.

  • what are your thoughts on g shocks?

  • Hi Aaron I often agree with you, but this time you' so wrong!

Women will you spot you in a minute if you wear a fake watch ! (I'm an Italian woman and here almost anybody could tell)

On the other hand, I think that it's even worse when people wear expensive accessories but their clothes don't mirror the quality or taste of the item.

People will think the watch is a fake or (in the worst case) that's stolen!

  • Small wrists! I know, it is a pain, but get a watch you love at a decent price. Any jeweler will pull out the links and it costs like $15. They put the links and the little bars that hold them in place into a bag or envelope for you to keep in case you grow or gain weight or sell the watch. My Fossil - the only perfect watch I ever found that I liked - was on sale at Dillard's in 1997 and way too big. $15 to resize it and it's still my favorite.

  • lalala

  • Not sure I agree on the fake designer goods. I say, if you can't afford it, then don't wear it. Believe me, the people that do have the real thing can definitely tell the difference between a "Folex" or "Flouis." They will either call you out or become uninterested. No one wants to feel bad then they're out at the bar or in a professional setting. I'd rather not run the risk of embarrassment. I personally steer away from brands faked a lot. I prefer a Breitling over a Rolex any day.

  • @brettpohlman Good Point!

  • @brettpohlman do you have a real rolex and etc????

  • @brettpohlman But, there are some definite positives of buying fake watches. First of all, if you are a watch collector, you might want to spend the 100 bucks and see how you like the watch and if you would wear it on a regular basis. Also, if you ever get into a tricky situation in another country, you could use the fake as leverage to get you out of the situation and you wouldn't lose much. Some people also like to look good without spending thousands of dollars on a 'Brand' that isn't worth.

  • @brettpohlman if someone call you out on wearing a fake designer stuff just say "but it looks great doesn't it". a real expensive rolex does not make you stylish. wearing gucci from head to toe does not make you stylish either it just makes you a mannequin. if the item you want looks great with your outfit then why not? don't just buy things because of the name. buy things because you like the look of it and to hell with all those brand names. braggin about what you wearing is tacky anyways.

  • @brettpohlman Goodpoint But if you cant afford a real rolex and real expensive designer goods you would most likely not be hangingout with people who are buying 15,000$ watches, people like that take no interest in people who are not in their price bracket

  • Comment removed

  • @brettpohlman or u can get a cheap unique japanese or chinese watch that no1 has or even heard of like the iron samurai

u will for sure get compliments on it

  • @brettpohlman There is no way to tell the difference aside from opening it up. you are talking out your ass.

  • Nice vid, Aaron. Not even sure why I'm watching it. I haven't worn a wristwatch in years (I find them uncomfortable). I wear a pocketwatch on a daily basis instead. Not a cellphone in my pocket, an actual pocketwatch; an antique on a chain. To make things a little weirder I'm not even "old" enough to wear a pocket watch; I'm not even 25 yet (but older than 20). But a great & funny video, anyway. Hahaha. "Folex". I'm gonna have to remember that one.

  • insightful and funny.

  • I liked this rambling vid haha

the more you talked, the more info I got!

  • I enjoy watching your videos. First reason being, you seem to know a lot about fashion etc .Second, your presentation style and humor. Keep up the good work

  • Enjoy your video's man. Good tips..

  • Also, you can clearly tell a fake from a good watch because of the screen. The fake watch will have a cheap screen that will get scratched soon. The real expensive ones have sapphire screen that can't get scratched...ever

I'm not buying myself a watch yet because I'm saving for the $2600 Rado. I will buy something that lasts me a lifetime instead of some cheap crap that people will think I'm a retard for wearing (yes, you CAN tell)

  • Never buy a fake. Just because of the principle. If you can't afford a real one, don't buy at all. Many people wont' care and won't be able to tell, but there are high class people that know the difference and if they see fake stuff on yourself they will think you are shit.

  • Love your videos, keep posting

I love watches but i just don't wear them because I have a very slim wrist and I feel the watch will look crap on my wrist like hanging on a hook. Any suggestions?

  • I don't know about these videos, this guy isn't really qualified to be giving advice on style.

  • Translation: I'm not qualified to judge this man, but I'll do it, anyways.

  • Good. Pac-Man watch it is...

  • I like your vids, but I'm not so sure about the Folex thing. Did you know that a used Rolex holds or appreciates in value over time? If you do decide to sell it, you usually get back what you paid for it or more. Imagine owning a luxury watch for several years for free or possibly getting paid to do so. That's even more economical than a fake. I guess we can agree to disagree on this subject. Great vids, by the way!

  • errgh this advice all sounds so vein but the trouble is I know I think the same!!

  • Hey Aaron what are the places where I can buy fake watches?

  • Nice vid, but you got robbed on the watch. NEVER, I mean NEVEr buy bags or watches from the africans (there is a organized group in nyc that sells them, they have a heavy african accent) , they buy it from chinatown and mark it up crazy to the tourists. those watches falex, famovado :) , etc go for 20 bucks in chinatown, bags are also cheap there too.

  • Nice watch! ;)

  • fake watches, thats right they are cool and cheaper, thanks man

  • Aaron, I love your honesty, common sense and inexpensive tips when it comes to fashion. Keep the videos coming!!

  • What about Tokyo Flash watches?! How could you forget those insanely hard to read time Puzzles?

  • LOL Folex... I can hear the Feds knocking at your door

  • Life isn't meant to be edited.

  • i agree, there is enough censorship as there is, Aaron, say wtv you want its your channel!!

  • great video man if you can do a video on wristbands i wear alot of them and i dont know how to wear them with the clothes i wear what is the best style to wear with wrist bands

  • Hey Aaron. just like to say great videos! Really like your style. Then on to my question, i noticed a long time ago that u have pirced ears, do u have ur piercings in when u wear a suit? And if so do you have any special way to match them to your suit?

  • I do wear them when I wear a suite. But if you are going on an interview, I would take them out.

  • I'm allergic to nickle is stainless steel watches and I don't like leather or cheap rubber ones... Anyone advice? I love wear watches, typically silver ones, but what can I do?

  • Sorry it's 5AM and Just had surgery, a little loopy!

I'm allergic to NICKEL** At least I think it's the nickel.

  • Also, I would wear a leather, but I wear suits two days week for an elected postion at my University. Like you said, leather bands seem cheap and mismatched, so I feel limited.

  • sinus infection and still look hot...

  • Cool video. I have been watching your videos for sometime and its interesting and informative. Thanks for sharing to us how to look good and feel good.

But I'd like to know how do we buy pants. How do we wear them right. I would love to know more about pants. I hope you would do a video on that.

Anywayz, hope you get well from ur sinus infection man. Take care. :)

  • Great video! I was always told, " A man without a watch is lost." It does impress alot of people too.

Funny you bought a fake from Canal Street. "NYC, where everyone has a nice watch!"

  • 6:48 "$15000 for a watch, GET THE F*** OUTTA HERE!!! LOOL! GO FAKE!

  • LOL! No! Not the Folex! Say it ain't so Aaron! So it ain't so!!!

  • Comment removed

  • dude u got an awesome channel..thx for showing us how to be stylish and looking mature ;)

  • Never known your language be so coarse, but it certainly made me laugh. Great video!

  • Awesome vid as usual Aaron. Keep 'em coming. And get well soon!

  • lol sweet, awesome vid as usual

  • Your actually reccomending fake watches? I really might have to unsubscribe...

  • hahah.. the Rolex was funny bro. Still waiting for my jeans/pants height video.

  • Aaron Marion to the rescue!!!

I was just looking to buy a new watch to go with my new suits. Thanks for putting your cape and coming to the rescue!

  • you look better sick than I do when I'm perfectly healthy lol

  • lol mother wore a fake LV and went inside an LV botique. no one noticed :D... after the stroll that's when she realized and she threw out the bag hahahahaha

  • Leather bands and gold watches are not cool? I was actually looking for a gold watch with a brown leather band to match with my brown belts and gold aviator...

  • hi Aaron plzzzzzzzz can you make a video about "Color Matching" coz i really have a problem in this. specially with shoes

  • ya, and maybe some videos on casual wear. Im a 19 yr old college student so i dont really feel comfortable wearing collards, blazers, etc on a daily basis.

  • You should man. I'm a college student too(i'm 20) and i typically always wear a dress shirt or blazer and pants. Make it casual by wearing a nice casual shoe like a samba or something. Or you can go without a tie. Dress nice, and you'll set yourself apart from all the other guys in hoodies or a hollister shirt and the ladies will like it. trust me...

  • good point, where are you going to school if you don't mind me asking?

  • Liberty University. You?

  • University of Oregon. Good luck with everything.

  • he already did..

  • ya i see it but Aaron didn't talk about matching colors with shoes

  • Hope you get feeling better! Thanks for the video!

  • If I had the money for every cheap watch iv broke I could buy a fucking Rolex

  • Great video Aaron, yeah i use my phone to tell the time a lot, but having my phone on me when I'm working is a big no no, so its gotta be a watch for me :)

  • always good videos :D

  • lol you're a funny dude Aaron...

  • Comment removed

  • "are these things great watches? No, they're shit."

    LOL

  • Ur vids are the best! lol

  • awesome vid!

  • the second hand on a real rolex moves more smoothly than a fake rolex and there are never any imperfections on a real one.

  • The second hand on my fake Rolex moves very slow. A sweeping motion if you will. crazy how much things have changed
