The only thing that needs to be said is that no other nation in the world can put on a parade, ceremony or display like us Brits and I am proud of that.
I was in the RAF Regiment for 22 and a half years and retired in 2000. The Regiment is only now getting the credit it has deserved since 1942, when it was founded. I served on many squadrons and I have never seen the corp looking finer. We only now are getting the credit, and recently we have lost good men in Afghanistan. However their still a lot people do not know about the Regiment, for such a small corp in size we are in a different League. Per Aruda.

but our traning in europe is much better. you dont have more men, you dont have more arms and your traning is inferior. in a large scale war i coudnt even imagine the blue on blue within american forces. just look at iraq, vietnamm, afghanistan.
the training is not inferior, MAYBE the Brits have better training, but only slightly and even then that training is emulated by U.S. forces. British special forces aren't as specialized as American special forces and therefor cannot be compared. Outside of that, European troops are somewhat lacking in training. This "blue on blue" stuff about the Americans is about 90% myth, then again maybe if EU countries committed an appropriate number of troops to a conflict their ff #'s would be similar.
it depends, theres allot of quite undertrained european troops but there is also quit allot of better trained. Britian, France, Germany, Sweden, Denmark ect, but theres also undertrained. put it this way, europe coudnt invade america and vice verca.
the americans sent 2 marines out to do the Royal marines training and the UK sent out 2 royal marines to do the US training. The uk troops set new records among the americans and the US troops failed the entry requirements.

How can you have not heard of the RAF. The RAF is the world's oldest independent air force of any significant size and the first air force to become independent of army or navy control. probably its most famous operation is the Battle of Britain which, if I remember correctly, also involved American pilots flying in RAF planes.

the training is not inferior, MAYBE the Brits have better training, but only slightly and even then that training is emulated by U.S. forces. British special forces aren't as specialized as American special forces and therefor cannot be compared. Outside of that, European troops are somewhat lacking in training. This "blue on blue" stuff about the Americans is about 90% myth, then again maybe if EU countries committed an appropriate number of troops to a conflict their ff #'s would be similar.

the americans sent 2 marines out to do the Royal marines training and the UK sent out 2 royal marines to do the US training. The uk troops set new records among the americans and the US troops failed the entry requirements.

How can you have not heard of the RAF. The RAF is the world's oldest independent air force of any significant size and the first air force to become independent of army or navy control. probably its most famous operation is the Battle of Britain which, if I remember correctly, also involved American pilots flying in RAF planes.
