Kellie Pickler may not be a genius, but her intelligence is obvious from the many songs she has learned and/or written.
I live in Spain. Years ago I visited France and I got fed up with old French people telling me "L'Afrique commence aux Pyrenees". I was referring to those cranky old people, not to the younger generation who obviously know better.
if you paid attention to her retort to the show's host you'd see that she is actually a very intelligent woman. sharp wit far exceeds an ability to expound upon general knowledge.
