my deal is how to safely get the energy...turning an alternator is easy...can do with an industrial fan, or a gas motor, or an electric motor, or by wind, water, or heat...But how do i harness the electricity and store it safely until my home is ready to use it?
Why don't you try to drive an alternator like in my video I say.... in "radiant way" for to charge directly a battery or produce HHO in a cell. It's much more efficient and don't need an 1/4 Hp engine but much less and an PWM high frequency generator for to drive the triac!!! like an NE555
You're right. Sorry- keep trying; I think Meyer's death was a tragedy and guys like you can help find a way to release the world from the need for oil. Good luck!
We can only try. Stanley Meyers was, I believe, a legitimate person just trying to create a true independence in the world. Even the fact he instilled belief in a lot of us, is a blessing in itself. Who knows where the road takes us, but at least it gave direction to a otherwise uncharted territory.
I'm only one person, using these videos, to try to influence other people's involvement. Forgive me for taking comments directed against it, personal. Just wish more people were involved. --S--
built that YEARS ago but used a 1 horse 3400 rpm pool pump motor that was donated and the alternator out of my pop's 76' jeep before he scrapped it... could get 55A out of the alternator for short durations, 45A continuous
excellent engineering on the T mount bracket for the alternator Hoax, does gravty take care of all the tension adjustment? or do you just line it out and lock it down?
The T bracket was good, and still is very sturdy. Just think it could of used some welded washer on either end for the bolt to fit snug. Other than that minor adjustment it works great.
Another thing to consider is the belt having a guard. Just it case it snaps. Also make note those older Chrysler alternators come standard with dual pulley. Something anyone may want to consider if going after this project.
Makes it easy to expand or add-on for that matter. Coupling is not much of an issue.
Give a test platform for HHO design around the all to common alternator that is found currently is all of our automobiles. Its the standard for power generation in our automobiles so why not try to use it in our quest for water-for-fuel.
If you find yourself not having understand, be sure to get yourself some stainless steel plates and mess around with a battery, and possibly some bi-carbonate (baking soda).
If you look closely Stanley mayer video footage he used second alternator running on small gasoline engine. with 2 alternator you can maybe power up to 2kw?
Heard of standard alternators putting out in excess of 50-60 Amps AC Running Arc-Welders. There is very few limitations to the all to common alternator. The use of the 2nd alternator is rather fascinating. Not 100% what he was doing with the use of the extra alternator. As it is fascinating it is also confusing.
I am trying to do something similar of this project with the alternator but using a 12 volts small motor from a vacuum cleaner. But it keeps draining the battery and the alternator is not charging it yet. I am missing something!!! Maybe looking at yours might give me some ideas.
Thanks; I actually purchased a 1/2 horse power 1 phase ac motor with a bigger pulley and now is working like a champ. I just did not had enough rpm's and the idiot light to activate the charging part.
Good going Hoax as all ways, those old Chrysler were a real work horse I have 4 of them in my stock pile and a couple of the 250 amp Lese Nevill's for some of the diesels I maintain. Can hardly wate to see it work with the the pulse ckt on the armature.
Yea I currently have two on hand, one couple directly to the test platform. Plus the fact they have a double pulley could make it easier to add the 2nd if not 3rd alternator to the configuration. Most of the new cars have updated the pulleys with newer style, but my older 1988 truck still has the v-style pulley set-up. Should transfer over easier that way.
Still working on the diode configuration ATM. These are the power-plants of modern day vehicles. Maybe that is what is lacking.
You will need at least a 6 hp motor to turn the alternator.
Old alternators like that had an external regulator. Without that regulator the alternator can be made to put out close to 100 volts pulsed DC. enough to run a power tool like a drill or saw if it has brushes. You will need variable power supply of up to 4 amps to energize the field windings (Rotor). Out put is from the stator windings.
Alternators have many uses. From adding priming magnets to the rotor for self-starting magnetic fields to generate. To modification to the main coil windings. Which is still something on a list of mine of many things to do currently with the alternator.
Sky is the limit if designed properly. These alternators charge more than just batteries, and power drills. They can do some much more in an efficiently designed circuit. Not even counting the use of a electrical clutch or equiv.
Yea a wire fed Miller MIG type welder. Not set-up to wire stainless at the moment, but otherwise this set-up welds steel rather well as long as the metal is kept clean and the grounding is good.
Like your idea on bio-gas, really interesting. Kudos on the idea, I believe it has great potential if automated. For maintained balance between feeding, cycling bio-mass, etc. With remote monitoring these days that could be done rather easy.
It's midnight here in jp the just show on the japanese television a car running exclusively on water. This follows another news in the US about a car running 80% on water and 20 per cent gazoline with the possibility of 100 per cent water. Something moving worldwide.
Would rather see them release a video pertaining to the how-to aspect. That car is conceptual not retail and buy-able by an average consumer. That is the true difference, be careful for those who might pretend to be patriotic towards the Hydrogen on Demand era.
We need systems that adapt to every-day-auto we all know so dearly. The Daily Driver.
I'm agree with you, is just that something that was bullied in the best scenario, now is coming to general attention. I can tell you that japanese are preetty seriuos in what they do and very conservative in spreading such news. I think the technology shown on TV is nothing new the attitude is. Compliments for your work I've been a fan of yours since the beginning
Excellent video. See my feed motor of a new design.

How long could it take to charge a batt with this set up
JuanPapaNicolao 2 years ago
I have built a couple of setups like this to use as battery chargers.
You only get maybe 4 Amps out of most chargers, but a setup like this will charge a car battery at 10-15 Amps!
I added Current and Voltage guages and had a small 12V SLA battery for when the target battery was really flat!
The other thing I added to the MK2 was a a high capacity light dimmer to vary the motors RPM.
For stuff I had lying around it was a really cheap battery charger.

can u use an AC motor as a generator??
if u move it manually or whit a wind source???

NO...it requires some conversion using magnets...

What you are missing is how much Horse Power it takes to turn an alternator.
You would need about a 6 HP motor to get 30 amps out of the alternator.

Yes, you need "MORE POWER".
The old motor in your video is less than 1/4 hp.
You will need at least a 6 hp motor to turn the alternator.
