Anyone who has played a guitar knows that it is much more difficult to play solos on an acoustic. DJ Ashba couldn't do it. Another guy did. Ashba is a good guitar player, and Axl Rose used to be amazing, but, in my opinion, Ashba should concentrate on Sixx AM, and Axl Rose should stop beating a "Dead Horse". Again, I strongly urge everyone to watch Slash and Myles Kennedy do a real acoustic version and watch a talent that has stood the test of time. Thank You. Long Live Slash!!!!
This is not "unplugged". They are using electric guitars. They have drums, bass and a crowd singing along to hide behind. Type in "Slash Sweet Child O Mine acoustic" and watch him and Myles Kennedy do this on two acoustic guitars. Nothing else. You be the judge.
Slash is good but I saw guns a few weeks ago live in Mexico and did not miss him, of course I would love to see the original members back together again but for me Axl is the master mind and he is great!

Why people brag about GNR not GNR without Slash. Slash wasn't form GNR, it was AXL. Slash was a replacement for Tracii Guns. Guns N Roses are combination of the name of Tracii Guns and Axl Rose. That is why Axl can use the name Guns N Roses while Slash can't.
@marcmm03 I agree with your sentiment, but I think the GnR name was from Axl pressing a contract on the band before a show. Either way, he still reps the band well and plays w/ real musicians (not Fergie). With all that said I would still be first in line to see O.G. GnR. Still love Ashba though. Way better fit then Buckethead.

Velvet Revolver was closer to Gn'R with 2 new guys but they didn't use Gn'R's name or anything close 2 it.

I still think that Axl should've named the band something else.. THis ain't Gun's N' Roses.. THis is just Axl's new band playing old songs and that Chinese Democracy thing.. Gun's was dead when Slash walked away.. And the rest followed..

While guys left throughout the years, they were replaced 1 by 1, this one is just Axl and other guys. Just would've hope he kept Gn'R dead until a reunion instead of doing this and scrapping the name. Hell, look at the sales, not Gn'R material. Velvet Revolver was closer to Gn'R with 2 new guys but they didn't use Gn'R's name or anything close 2 it.
