  • And, in response to Vasili,

    SIMILAR SIMO HÄYHÄ!

  • Sorry to burst your bubble, but the R is for rimfire.

  • @MFCProductionTeam i hope you are joking. it stands for rimmed. 7.62x54r is a centerfire cartridge.

  • That Mosin is a good Time!

  • Is this an older account of GY6 productions?

  • haha is that really actually 7.62x54 ? sounds like a 22 haha

  • watch?v=vHTjKgk9bgk

  • VASILI ZEITZEV!!!

  • Not a sniper rifle

  • @dawnmarko1 fukin a rite it is .. Visili had about 450 kills with his with a shitty scope..

  • @311gc

The mosin sniper rifles all had scopes. The rifle in the vid is just a plain jane 91/30 infantry rifle.

  • @dawnmarko1 we have 4 good shooting ones. out of 5.. one keyholes now and then , I think it was counterbored. I like them with the open sights my self

  • So this is probly a noob questions but if you dont ask you will never know how expensive is it to buy rounds for this rifle and are they difficult to get a hold of?

  • @MrTNL3 Currently 7.62x54r is about: 0.18 a round for Military Surplus Corrosive, 0.41 for Commercial Non Corrosive steel cased, or 0.68 for Commercial Non Corrosive brass cased (Reloadable). However prices and availability will vary depending on your location.

  • did you notice the ricoche coming back at them at 1:56 lol

  • @theguitarhippie LOL yeah I heard that when it happend....it actually was going to the left toward the mountains...Hey I have a NEW ACCOUNT "GY6productions" I no longer upload to this one....Check out my new Video "POINT BLANK GROCERIES" you might get a laugh from it.

  • The Mosin is better than a 98k. It may not shoot as big as the round the 98k shoots but it's a beastly gun

  • Kar98k was better than mosin-negat

  • Are all americans gay?

  • Nice vid!

    Picking mine up tomorrow.

  • I just picked up a mosin nagant at a gun show for 113bucks can't wait to try it out they sure look fun

  • @TheKevinChannel1 Use a sander or a sheet of sand paper to sand down the Bolt.....this will increase your smoothness in the bolt when you chamber a round...you well see the rough spots on the bolt when you remove it...sand down those rough spots and you will feel a HUGE DIFFERENCE

  • @TheKevinChannel1 Thank you...but I have moved to a NEW YouTube Account come check it out... you can subscribe on my new Channel and see my NEW VIDEOS THERE...Search "POINT BLANK GROCERIES" on my NEW account GY6productions account you will be able to subscribe to my there=)

  • Is it a Sniper variant or just a regular 91/30?

  • @spetznaz1337 regular 91/30....but the only difference between the two, is $300 and a cool but crazy old school scope and a bent bolt...=)

  • @punisher4287 Well, not exactly. "Sniper Mosins" were factory freaks that could shout a 1.5 inch group at 100 meters during the factory tests. That was the regulation. For any other Mosin to qualify and leave the armory, they would have to shoot around 3-3.5 inch groupings at 100 meters. Actual sniper Mosins will be marked as such on the barrel shank, and if still in could condition, should shoot better than the average Mosin. Keep shooting, and take care!

  • @spetznaz1337 WOW=0 Didn't know that...thats some cool info...thank you=)

  • @punisher4287 No problem. Go to 7.62x54r.net if you want more info. That's where I go. Take care.

  • @punisher4287 It would also be good to mention that if you go to a gun store or a gun show, you will most likely find Mosins with PU scopes already attached. Not all of these are actual sniper Mosins. Unless they have the markings on the barrel shank, they are NOT a "sniper Mosin." Don't be fooled into wasting your money. Again, you can find what these markings are by going to 7.62x54r.net and go to their Russian Mosin Markings page.

  • @punisher4287 my original pu mosin with handloads can shoot sub moa groups in a machine rest with handloads just to show what these rifles can do

  • @spetznaz1337 Thank you...but I have moved to a NEW YouTube Account come check it out... you can subscribe on my new Channel and see my NEW VIDEOS THERE...Search "POINT BLANK GROCERIES" on my NEW account GY6productions account you will be able to subscribe to my there=)

  • How did you get the rifle to sound so quite? Or was it just the camera not pickung up the bang?

  • @redheadhistorian

Its just the camera!!!! LOL that would be cool though=)

  • man this gun's beautiful, Where did you buy it?

  • @RIChava18 BIG-5 was selling them for $99 =0 it was an awesome sale!!!

  • i have one just like that, i went through 20 rounds that i had and realised the front site was off, but its fun and really loud

  • @ChunkyMilkProduction

yeah its not easy...but ive just put on a after market scope mount and scope=) its a nail driver now!!!!!

  • do they have scope mounts for the older models? i have a 1934 and i wouldnt think it would work since the bolt goes straight up

  • @ChunkyMilkProduction first off, it was not a sniper model unless it came with a bent bolt. therefore this Mosin Nagant is not and never was a sniper rifle. the original sniper rifles were tested for accuracy at assembly and the ones that were chosen were refitted with a bent bolt as well as an offset small scout scope. you can however purchase bent bolts online or get a kit to drill and tap it yourself. however it cant be considered a 91/30 sniper.

  • Nice shooting southpaw.

  • thank a lot....=)

  • is this out in the mojave desert?

  • lol yeah it is=)

  • your camera makes it sound suppressed.

  • lol yeah it does=)

  • Great video Punisher, i would've hit the pin though lol

  • we were hitting it!!! you just cant see the pin on the video...thanks for the comment

  • Oh yeah no problem dude, keep it up i enjoy your vids
