Evenetually the truth came out and the company now are trying again to remodify the expenses in the phone, as the expenses came from mostly the projector, to create a more successful device.

this is a real phone, i worked on the prototype but due to insufficient funds it turned out we would never break even. Nova scotia managed to make over 20 successful prototypes which i happened to have used one, and it didn't turn out well. the shaver was too sharp and felt like knives, the translator never picked up words clearly, and the coffee tasted like stale milkshake. the only success was the harmonica, although it was digitally engineered for perfect sound effects.

On-the-fly translation... possible in the near future maybe but not very practical as conversation will be extremely broken.
