This was taken in Pago Pago on April 2010. The Fautasi team was preparing for the annual race. I was on a team working at the site to investigate the damaged bulkhead from the Tsunami of September 2009 and decided to video the team as they finish their practice run.
Good one thanks for putting this up. I'm new at down loading videos on you tube, still tryn to get this down. But yeah i am also a Matasaua crew member. And I know my self that the race was not fair. Both Matasaua boat's and the Segavao were the only one's in back of the starting line. When the gun went off, and all the other boat's were about 40 to 50 yards in front. And when that gun went off all of us was shock!!!! THANK YOU TO THE DAM IDIOT!!!! that shot the to dam early.
Thanks for posting this. I was one of the rowers on this fautasi. This was when the sun was at full blast with the heat. Had a really good sun burn from it.. lol
