  • this it isn't mines gtr original!! this is shit!!

  • @cazioism stfu. you know you like it.

  • dont know who was behind the wheel at the end - but he cant drive for shit !

    awesome car though.

  • pfffff just a copy....

  • @mauricioalfredo83 Id take it.

  • The original Mines R34 passes street legality in Japan. Same as the Nismo R34 Z-Tune, both with 600hp+! I think the trend now in Japan is to build street legal 500hp cars that even passes emissions! I just love that tuning philosophy!

  • Street legal, nuff said.

  • that car is JDM. and the stuff on my pants is jizz.

  • That thing is seriously fast! and it looks beautiful, i wouldnt change a thing on it

  • This car isn't as quick as the original mines car. The original's rev counter zaps to redline in a flash. The original also corners much flatter than this one. There are certain things that you can't copy just by buying the parts.

  • @sodazman True True the original mines has no competition

  • @sodazman The Mines R34 runs a 4.2 final drive @ 650 bhp, whilst this car runs the stock R34 GTR 3.545 FD.

  • nice car, only shame is didn't modify the drivetrain :/

  • this is a copy cat mines gtr wtf thats the second time ignition has shown off clone cars from japan. cmon dawg be original

  • Have to say that engine does not sound as responsive as Tsuchiya's lap at Tsukuba.

  • wow this is my fav car of all time and yet i havent seen it bcuz i liveon the east coastof america, where skylines are more rare than slr mclarens and ferrari f50's

  • @murcielagodog omg u serious? theyre EVERYWHERE in australia!!

  • Better move to AUS bro, there everywhere ;)

  • The reving is not exactly the same as the Original Mines R34, this may due to the original Mines sporting a 3.7 final drive and a R32 differential.

I don't know the specs on this, but the R32 differential is the reason for its hardcore acceleration.

  • This GTR isnt as fast as the original Mines R34.

type in "Mines R34 vs Amuse Supra", watch that baby accelerate!!!

  • mines > all for response anyway :P

  • Lotsa comments from everyone. Everyone's got their own fair share of thoughts. No one is wrong and neither anyone is right.

  • this car is the best machine on the world ohhh

  • mines is street legal retard

  • also when i order it.. what the hell should i order to be put into the engine.. I know its quick stock but I want it to be able to run 10's.. im only 19 so give me a break haha.

  • Do you really think your mom is going to buy you a GTR? I'm 19 also and I must say your a fucking idiot thinking you can get a genuine Mine's GTR.

The car costs probably more than your house and maintenance of it with your thumb in the middle of hand will be expensive.

Just stick with your moms Ford KA, that will prolly get you in trouble quicker than you think when you learn using stick after million stalls. Have fun :]

  • LOL... you think you can get a 10second GTR.

my gts-t was no where near a 10second run (more low to high 13's), not by atleast 20-30,000 dollars...

I've spent around 8,000 to date on mod parts and labour, and its only been dynoed at 213.5rwkw.... i'm 19 also... be realistic before you post stupid shit dude.

  • a r32 gtr with minnor mods "could" run 11's on stock injectors and turboes, i think mines got 11.3 on their r32.

My r32 gts-t probably runs 13's with a Mines ecu and everything changed but the stock exaust manifold and injectors. All done myself so it looks extremely good and only $4000, all of which is their to support my t04e when it goes on.

  • Ofcourse you can get a 10 sec GTR if you have the cash.

Comparing a gtst to a GTR is just stupid.

A GTST does low 14 qtrs standard a GTR does high 12's. Big difference there.

  • my comment was 8 months ago. lol

Not too sure what the guy initially said and what I was replying to.

But yes a 10 second gtr nowadays is running from between 25k - 30k. R32 GTRS only. hope that helps. lol

  • wat is the difference cost wise and performance wise between the gts-t and gtr because a always thought that they wer basically the same

  • Times are like i said and with cost a Gtst is roughly half the price or less of a GTR.

Gtst are only rwd, less of a bodykit, less interior gadgets and not as good seats, and only have either an RB20 or RB25 in them.

While def not as good as a GTR they are still good and quick cars.

  • which skyline R34 type is the fastest street legal car? I know mines puts out alot of HP but like it says, rally car.. What's the fastest R34 they make thats street legal.. in terms of like.. mines.. jspec.. shit like that.. which is the quickest street legal. I plan on getting one and I go plan on driving it to the max.. I just am not to sure which is the quickest because theres to many different kinds. lol

  • who gives a shit about s13's and 14's, they need half the parts swapped out of a skyline to have an uglier version 200lb's lighter. Thoes cars hubs aren't even worth keeping and the s13 is not desighed well to cool a big engine without a front end swap.

    Skyline all the way.

Good looks, good dynamics, good chassi, good engine, good brakes, and a sexy yet functional front end. My near stock Skyline by desighn is already better then 90% of the time consuming 240sx projecct cars getting rb's.

  • hey i have a s14 240sx. but ya i like skylines better. im keeping the ka24de and turboing it. minor mods some 350whp later its all about saving up for a monster r34 gtr.

  • still be a nice car to wake up to in the morning

  • im sorry, but yeah, that is the point i guess. to have something to closely resemble something that has started a revolution such as the Mine's GTR =P

  • The Engine was...

the suspension was tuned by some English bloke

and even without the whole driving parts of the vid...the front splitter is white and it doesnt have the BBS rims of the Japanese car. The JDM version revs up faster.

  • I would consider this as the brother of the original Mine's GT-R R34.

  • yeah...thats more like it...lol

  • of course u wont be able to copy it and be excact the same as the original mines GTR may have same parts but it would be alot more differnt "gr8whiterb26" is write it revs no where near as hard as the original. its just going out and trying to build another z tune that is exact the same - not possible

  • drool.

    Hard on.

    Change of underwear.

    repeat.

  • sexy as HELL!

  • this one doesn't seem to rev up as fast as the original. Some of the more powerful one's have a stage two engine but with the same turbo's. The original must have better balance and response. But it's upto each customer on how they should modify the parts. So yer, just thought i'd contribute in the convo.

  • All the parts added to it including the engine can be bought via catalogues or over the counter in Japan. If you have the money of course you can copy any of the Japanese tuners cars because all the parts and accessories are advertised and readily available everywhere in Japan. Don't get me wrong, I think the car is great but calling it a MINES TIME ATTACK GTR is a bit misleading. It's a fully worked R34, it isn't even a V Spec etc is it?

  • Yes it is V Spec

  • come on guys- hes hardly on a time attack. plus its not his car and its for sale. i think it sounds even better with that arc exhaust.

  • same car worse driver(s)

  • oh yeah...that definitely is not the original. You simply cant copy the work of Mr. Niikura of Mine's

  • ofcourse u can....dikhed!

  • lol...no you cant. Not the fine tuning of the suspension...

that car doesnt have the response of the JDM Mine's car

  • and u know because youve driven both cars??

  • lol..no but if you see the difference between both cars in videos...the Japanese one definitely has better engine response.

but i actually tune cars in REAL life...i dunno about you

  • u cant tell shit from watching this footage!.........this car was built by MINES!

  • just because it was built by Mine's doesnt mean it was tuned by them

  • lol...the engine was sent to Japan to get built by Mines. The chassis wasnt. But you have to know...that the R&D put into the original Mine's GTR...is just too much for anyone to do on their own

  • So full of shit. So what exactly do you do buddy?

  • 1) i take care of the tuning for 4 of my friends car at the moment.

    2) i am currently building my S13 to clock amazing times in street form, on street tire

    3) i am also in the process of buying an S14 to do the same

    4) i also drive the local autocrosses and track events.

how about you mr. "so full of shit"?

  • LOL 1) what does tuning 4 of your friends cars mean? You have your own dyno at home and the thousands of dollars in equipment for tuning?

    2) What you doing to your S13?

3)why build 2 cars that are basically the same? Thats stupid.

I have a S13 with an RB20 in it. Can give you links to Aussie forums with pics if you need proof. Unlike your BS.

  • Im still in college but im doing what i can to make a couple of great cars. but yeah, the RB20DET isnt the smartest move in a 240SX. you couldve gotten the S13 redtop for a whole lot less, the same power and displacement. and from what ive seen, the RB20DET and CA18DET both have the same problems with overheating and whatnot. make sure your water pump is in good condition. what about your radiator? you better've changed it out, its stupid if you havent.

  • You def no more then i thought. I live in Aus so prices you pay are nothing the same as here. RB20 are cheap as dirt we have thousand of GTST skylines here and even more half cuts brought over by wreckers. And yes i have a A/M radiator better then the standard RB one. Plenty of ppl use the standard RB rad here (which bolts in to S13) with no problems for daily driving though.

  • i forgot about the Aussies obsession with the Skyline and Rotaries =P you guys put that RB30E in the old school Holden Commodore (??)...but yeah what other tracks you guys have down there besides Bathurst?

  • 1) my friends and i run @ autocrosses and track events, i tune suspension and brakes and install everything like cams and turbos to rebuilding bottom ends

    2) my S13 is getting the S14 SR20DET, stripping it out, full race suspension from Control arms to coilovers, Z brakes, and rollcagin it =)

    3) the S14 and S13 both handle a lil bit different on the limit due to the physics and dynamics of both cars. If you think they're completely the same...youre retarded.

  • 1)Tuning here generally means the computer not the whole car. I believe you can do bolt on stuff as i put the RB in my car myself and it also has GTS25t brakes and hubs.

    2)fair enough

3)They are close enough to the same its stupid to spend 1000s of dollars on them. Get a skyline or a RX7 or something. I guess its hard for you though as that is about it over there for a lightish jap rwd turbo. We have all the skyline models, S15, cefiro's, cresta's ect

  • 1) if i had the money for the equipment for the dyno and plug-n-play computers, trust me, i would do it. and not a bad choice, instead of the GTS25t brakes and hubs, ive slapped on Z32 brakes on my S13 (we dont get the Skyline in the US...its rarer than finding a brave Frenchman)

    3) i love the S-chassis car. I love it for the versatility it has on the track. Driving one past an RX7 or a Corvette is just sheer pleasure. And again, if the Skyline was available here, trust me, i would buy one =P

  • and btw....im on NICO, Sidewaysonline and capital driving club...check me out on there. haha, so generic on the links eh?

  • No you can't, buddy.

  • I'm with you on this one.

  • .....in the last incar view, the car dosnt seem to have mych torque like the original. seems slower and the driver does need more seat time

  • you cant beat the original.

  • lol, it doesn't SEEM as fast? based on what? noobs need to stfu.

  • you're the fukin noob so u need to a have a dick up ur ass and in ur mouth you dumb fuk.

  • Driver needs some more seat time.

  • I think this could be as fast as the factory mines r34 gtr.

  • With some suspension tweaks.

  • I think that's because in the corners he didn't dare to drive it as hard as good ol' Tsuchiya-san!

  • I agree its does not seem as fast to the jdm Mines..not the less good vid.

    thanks.

  • Wonder how this car compares to the Real Mine's GTR, although the real Mine's GTR only has a Stage II engine while this one has Stage III, but this one doesn't seem as fast as the real one. Anyways cool vid.
