Stupid Goffin Cockatoo (and Eclectus!) tricks 5—Part 1

A big goffin is about the physical size of a small eclectus, but the eclectus is a much heavier and denser bird. Our largest goffin is about 320 grams, and the eclectus are in the 360-390 range.

animelover075 i know this question was kinda directed to the maker of the vid but i have an eclectus and i thought it would be okay if i awnsered it......... it dosent realy matter wether its a boy or a girl persoanly i like girls for there beautiful plummage of red and blue but its realy up to you!

what do you feed tour eclectus parrots daily?

All of our birds get a veggie/fruit mix (peas, corn, carrots, broccoli, beans, peppers, apple, kale, parsley and whatever else looks good or is on sale when we go shopping) that makes up about 50% of their diet. About 30% is pellet (we mix a 10lb bag of Roudybush and a 5lb bag of Harrison's) and the other 20% is a little seed, treats, bird bread and assorted other.

Oh I love Goffins. My favorite part was Alex running (hopping?) across the table. I used to love watching my Dad's Goffin running around.
