I'm not sure that implication works for Walmart's products. If they are made in the USA, then why do they have a Chinese basket, cone, magnet and voice coil? I highly doubt they are assembled in the U.S. much less manufactured. I pretty sure I saw these woofers on Alibaba's website for Chinese trade.

All ferrite magnets come from Asia, baskets came from another USA based company that did cast in Asia just like 99% other companies. Alibaba is notorious for knockoffs and even theirs is much different. This van is a world champ with 20kw per woofer. Broken glass loses back pressure on cones.

@snappinjoints When When Mythbusters did their woofer, they made it out of a material that couldn't stand it's own pressure. Also, it blew the sunroof off it's track but they did not make any modified adjustments to the car to seal any form of pressure. Also, the "Mythwoofer" scored a 161.3 @ 16hz before the sunroof popped. Now, I'd like to see them make it out of something that COULD handle the pressure, seeing as it was powered by a transmission...

Sorry, I don't know why you say your subs are "unlimited power". That's not true. It cannot be true. No wire has "no limit" to how much power you can run through it. I don't care what type of voice coil you have, its going to blow at some point if you feed enough through it.

So given the choice of showing your "100,000" watt amplifiers and "unlimited" power subwoofers, you chose to film the front of a mini van with its mirrors hanging off. You have to admit that it looks like a setup....if it's not, how about video number 2 showing your hardware? Also maybe you could explain what caused all the smoke from the cabin? I have never seen a sub fry its voice coils in the two second burst you just hit these with.....unless you wired them straight to the mains of course.
smoke in the cabin is not smoke it is saw dust and bondo dust in floor carpeting from months of work on the enclosure. the voice coils are not fried at all not even close. thats the film spot because its a stable security camera that caught this happening. there were 16 t4000-1bd amps and 97 16 volt batteries that give the power to the 4 18"s. our fist windshield actually blew out at DB DRAG WORLD FINALS in Oct. 2007 where hundreds saw it and was videoed i believe. there are pics replacing it.
Do some homework man. The subs we run in our van are unlimited power. They are not normal subs that you would have in your car. The subs in our van are made to hold alot of power. Each sub has around 25 to 28k watts going to them. The whole system is just over 100k watts.
We do go through subs alot because they cant handle that much power for long periods of time. They are only for bursts up to 30 secs or a hair longer.

Sorry, I don't know why you say your subs are "unlimited power". That's not true. It cannot be true. No wire has "no limit" to how much power you can run through it. I don't care what type of voice coil you have, its going to blow at some point if you feed enough through it.

you are correct sorry for my mis wording. basically even with 25k watts per speaker these voice coils do not blow. other parts of the speaker has malfunctioned never a coil in that blown respect.

So given the choice of showing your "100,000" watt amplifiers and "unlimited" power subwoofers, you chose to film the front of a mini van with its mirrors hanging off. You have to admit that it looks like a setup....if it's not, how about video number 2 showing your hardware? Also maybe you could explain what caused all the smoke from the cabin? I have never seen a sub fry its voice coils in the two second burst you just hit these with.....unless you wired them straight to the mains of course.

smoke in the cabin is not smoke it is saw dust and bondo dust in floor carpeting from months of work on the enclosure. the voice coils are not fried at all not even close. thats the film spot because its a stable security camera that caught this happening. there were 16 t4000-1bd amps and 97 16 volt batteries that give the power to the 4 18"s. our fist windshield actually blew out at DB DRAG WORLD FINALS in Oct. 2007 where hundreds saw it and was videoed i believe. there are pics replacing it.

Do some homework man. The subs we run in our van are unlimited power. They are not normal subs that you would have in your car. The subs in our van are made to hold alot of power. Each sub has around 25 to 28k watts going to them. The whole system is just over 100k watts.

We do go through subs alot because they cant handle that much power for long periods of time. They are only for bursts up to 30 secs or a hair longer.
