i'm working on a two handed approach because although people say you can't be versatile but you can be so much more versatile with equipment and go just as straight as players like barnes and walter ray
this makes absolutley zero sense.... if i can maybe understand this, why dont you learn to get under it and play deep, and learn to play straight, throwing 2 hands then with 1 hand doesnt have any significance.
there are soooooo many more bowlers that put ten times more rotation in the ball WITHOUT using two hands. i dont really see it as any sort of advantage, just a different style... which is, personally, giving the sport a bad name.
Belmonte can throw 600 COMFORTABLY. How many other bowlers can throw 600 COMFORTABLY? Robert Smith and Osku Palermaa (Also two handed) are the only ones I could think of. Give me one reason why it's giving the sport a bad name. Can you?
Actually I think its a good thing that guys like Belmonte and Palerma throw 2 handed because there aren't many 2 handed bowlers out there and it's actually harder to throw the ball 2 handed than 1 handed. So I believe that it is actually having a positive effect on the sport and not a negative effect.
according to the USBC, belmo usually clocks in at around 570. Robert Smith is in the 550's. Both of them can go well over 600 if needed (Smith can throw in the high 600/low 700's, and so can Belmo. Smith can also go as low as the mid 400's for straighter shots). Michael Fagan has a very high rate too, almost as high as those two.
yeah i know, they all suck, especially because jason belmonte and osku palermaa are dominating the sport worldwide. hmmm, they throw one of the most powerful strike balls the game has ever known. but yeah, they suck. hahahaha
@pickslide21 ya you know what A-HOLE you have no right in dissing a person or a group just because we bowl two handed!! there is absolutely nothing that says a bowler has to use one hand, that's just like saying you can't bowl left-handed! so before you tell ALL OF US 2-handers we're a disgrace how about you learn true bowling ettiguette and get over yourself
@Dylanb9989 thats what your girlfreind said to me lol im just playin........

you're a nerd...
Any good bowler will say that 2handers like jason are awesome..
nobody can put on the revs as jason does...
Robert smith is at 540-560, same for osku palerma (when they throw it comfortably)
And this guy gets it well over 600, around 610-630...
So how can it be bad in any other way than if he is your opponent

What about Ken Simard? lol
