I've got a small question, if a lizard (I'm going to be getting one of these goldies soon, and I've been doing tons of research for them) has been raised on crickets, is there any technique to try and switch them to meal worms or superworms? Crickets die fast and I would like to have something other than crickets to feed my gecko.

@ShadowToxin it should be very easy to switch over to another food item, i know im 4 months late, but just use tongs to hand feed them

No, he said in the vid that they are runners, and are incredibly fast at that. If you're looking for a lizard that is easy to handle and doesn't bite, look at something like a leopard or a fat tailed. These guys -can- be tamed, but it takes patience and time; these are the kind of guys that need trust to be handled, or some don't even do it at all.

@Ripwalter34 - you must buy the decor because any wood from a garden or street could contain parasites or mosses harmful to the gecko.

tokay is a bigger more agresive gecko and a 12 by 12 by 18 will work for a adult goldie

with some work and daily handling start at 5 min and work your way up to maybe 30min little steps maybe add a minute of handling time a day and they should get preety tame any more questions just ask thnx
