  • Sounds like a Tie-fighter. I have seen those in reality, pulsos are awesome.

  • To je fofr !!!

  • Bravo bravo!

  • Are there any throttle controls?

  • 230mph top speed? You mean, ONLY 230MPH! There is no slow flying.. Either ON or OFF.. Someone needs to invent a throttled pulse jet..

  • Nicely landed!

Can you email me the scematics please!

  • @steve2839jet Very impressive. On the other hand, I have an Electric Solar-Thermal Ramjet, mounted on my 1983 4WD Subaru... It was a 5th-Order Design-Priority, but I couldn't resist. Search 'Solar Thermal Ramjet' to view it. Then 'SunFoil Science' & 'SunFoil Mk3 Construction'. Open Source. DIY. To measure your vehicle for the correct PV size, search 'SunFoil Short Talk'. That one has the CSIRO Evaluation included...

    Ciao !

  • Stop torturing Chewbacca!

  • @pchapman905 jajajajajaja

  • awesome.

  • Coming out in the November - December Magazine hopefully of AirBorne in Australia is a story on a RC fuel injected Pulse Jet.

  • beautifull sound , just awesome .

  • Fart powered plane, what will they think of next?

  • great plane

  • it reminds me of the Starwars pod racers. any one else think that?

  • @JAAG76AZ its the sound of.....

I WANT EVERY ONE TO KNOW IM COMING!!!!

  • vraiment impressionnant

  • put v-power fuel in it :)

  • @aWannaBePilot

    What you mean Shell fuel?

  • i love the Doppler effect:)

  • wow its like a real jet sound

  • Comment removed

  • Vevzuela plane

  • That was impressive! I would imagine landing this would be quite difficult?

  • This is the best engine ever made... Really makes a scary sound, like in the old WW2 Nazi jet prototype planes... Damn, this sounds makes me remember bombs, bullets and rockets flying everywhere...

  • sweet, but how do u land that thing?!

  • RC Pulse Jets are now legal in Australia. This one came from Italy.I bought one from Germany myself.Look up days of speed and thunder to see them all.Bye them of ww .z-jet.it ww .zmodel.it and ww .pulsotriebwerk.de for RC ones.

  • you should find a way to mount a camera on that

  • its official...pulsejet for my senior design project

  • oh, my dear neighbours

  • these engines have no throttle control though right??

  • @sk805in Right!

  • @sk805in they do have throttle control, regulating the amount of gas going into the combustion chamber.

  • Look at 1:21 - you can actually see the pulses in contrast to the clouds! Awsome!

  • @Himingen

That's just an artifact from video compression, would be cool if it was though...

  • awesome landing!

  • lol and the plane just crossed the Sound Barrier :P

  • ah did they off thier thruster before landing ? Coooooool.

  • Best RC landing I've ever seen!

  • Impressive piloting

  • Very impressive!

  • imo this is much much more awesome that a turbine jet engine..

  • omg the sound, i can listen to this all day....

  • You did good in the build, handles well ,good effort ,NOW SELL IT TO PADDY OBAMA

  • awesome more....!

  • awesome

  • hehe ale zapierdala

  • that is soo cool!

  • SIIIIIIIIICK

  • very nice

  • Nice sound!

  • Outstanding pilot skillz and nice aircraft =p I wanna see more.

  • sounds like a real plane! man that thing is awesome good job

  • Almost half the speed of sound, correct? Very cool.

  • The best so far

  • You have one Very cool plane. The power to weight ratio must be pretty good. Nice aircraft indeed, yl

  • Dear santa...

  • these guys are awesome !!!!!!

  • This thing sounds like a swarm of angry bees. Flying death machine no doubt. Looks angry at rest also. Very cool indeed.

  • that was a legit landing.

  • Boy that damn thing is fast. very very fast bravo!!!!

  • @steve2839jet Impressive to say the least, ever thought about using it to scare birds away from crops and airstrips?

Better than the old shotgun,,,,,and more fun.

  • DAm that sounds like a real jet...would scare the crap of anyone thinking it's a real jet at a distance... =D

  • Посадка на пять баллов! Мои поздравления!

  • How do u keep it in sight?

  • Naw -- that's pretty much how a pulse jet sounds.

  • I think the audio has been messed with to make the video cooler.

  • So the way that you land it is that you fly until the fuel runs out and then it drifts down to earth?

  • you wanna sell it

  • 370.15 kilometres per hour IMPRESSIVE!!!

  • looks Soviet? lol

  • You should sell those.

  • that is the coolest thing i have ever seen or heard... thanks

  • freekin cool, good piloting

  • freekin cool

  • Great airplane with thrilling sound and of course excellent pilot! The only bad thing about this video is the quality of the camera and not so skilled cameraman. I wish you would record the flight again with a nice HD camera :)

  • any chance of getting a close up vid of those engines working, i am fidling with RC avionics atm. looking for viable engine options, i have been thinking about a small jet, or pulse jets. not sure which one to go for.

  • sounds like a star wars fighter.. nice!

  • that glided like a trainer :O

  • 22 people aren't quite sure what they're looking at here...

  • MAAAAN! That's cool!!! What an ominus sound....

  • now thats a really scarey, but NICE sound!

  • I flew a twin Bailey in 2000 on a Italian DELFINO & the sound resinates lovely. The Zanin are even bigger pulse jets.Good to.

  • vuvuzela!!

  • i have never herd a better "SOUND" thena daul oulse jetl.... insane

  • Very well done. Exellent person at the controls

  • Best r/c pilot I've seen. You had one chance to land right when the fuel ran out.

  • Sweet run......start to finish!!!!

  • VERY nice landing. sounds bad ass too

  • Awesome.

  • Hats off to the pilot! What a handfull.

  • HOLY SHIT THATS FREAKING AMAZING, i kneel to that awesomeness

  • Excellent dead stick landing, too fast flying for me though.

  • its a good thing you are way out in the middle of nowhere. that has to be so loud.

my dad put one on an ugly stick back in the 80's in Sitka, AK and it was so loud everyone in the town heard it

  • The sound is makes when it flys directly over head is intoxicating

  • top job fellas....glad to see a pulse jet actualy get used and not just sitting on a bench!

  • Jesus! That's just awesome! Well done...

  • Nice!

  • best sound ever created!

  • hello i like the sound goodbye

  • nice toy :)!!

  • awesome sound!!

  • nice flight

  • nice flight

  • After running 2 bailey jets on a DELFINO kit I have to say the sound is far better than on youtube. You have to hear it for real.

  • Sounds like a TIE fighter

  • So do you have any throttle control on these jets or are they always just wide open like that untill they run out of fuel and you have to land??... seems hard to keep track of like that.... But you Deff. did it great! .. Nice landing too!

  • did you know it would run outta fuel or a bit surprised then just pulled it back in for a landing ?

  • Those engines would look better in a a-10 warhog since the real one has similar looking engines. Sounds badass

  • Great no power landing.

  • Great piloting. I don't know how you keep directional orientation with something that fast.

  • Wow, wonderful. How do you insure both engines cut out at the same time?

  • Got any failsafes?

Like... Parachute if it gets out of range? =P

  • Best. Fucking. Aircraft. Sound. EVER!!!!

  • I gotta say that was fucking impressive!! Well done

  • sounds like a miniature satan!

  • Kudos! looks like it gives at least the same thrust as a nice ducted fan setup, and damn that was a fine landing, if I ever saw one.

  • To byl fofr !

  • How the hell do you land that thing xD

  • damn thats an expert pilot behind the controls

  • Sounds and looks like a real plane

  • Wow! The dual engine installation realy made it sound great! How mouch thrust do yout get?

  • who has a drawing of the engine/plane?

has someone tried to build this: pulsejet.amtjets.com/index1."h.t.m.l" ?

  • Sounds like a vuvuzella!

  • one word "Outstanding"!

  • wow that landing was amazing

  • Very cool landing!!!

  • That's awesome. 10 minute is a pretty decent flight too for an RC, right?

  • nice..but isn't this fuel consumptive? since it only flew for 10 mins?

and if this is scale to a larger version, gallons of fuel, that is proportional to the 10 liters in the rc version, it will just fly in 10 mins? f-16, why would the f-16 fly longer?

  • what that like 200 mph or more?

  • twin vuvuzela engine

  • good video verry nice control engine

  • gotta love that sound, the motors are just slightly out of syn with the doppler effect when it zooms by, haha i didnt even know you could run pulse jets in rc aircraft, they burn so damn hot

  • wow, that is crazy awesome.

was the speed adjustable or was it one setting (on until it ran out of fuel)

  • ....now that is über cool!

  • That thing screams! Imagine a fully functional life sized fighter, bomber, whatever...Screaming death from above!

  • add the vuvuzela here

    makes no difference x)

  • That's a bit chilling when the engines cut. Messerschmitt used 2 pulsejets on their Me328 parasite fighter and the sheer battering of sound from the engines damaged the aircrafts structure.

  • Can you get the same power from a valveless?

  • Oh man, that thing sounds SICK! In a good way. Bravo!

  • IMPRESSIVE SOUND AND BOOST! And also a realy impressive PILOT! Because of that incredible Speed and Power that little Engines create. Howerver a Question... At the End of he flight been an abrupt outage of the engine. This been "controlled by pilot" or is it just our of gas ?

  • @axel1973w

Good question mate! I would like to know too.

  • I seen one of these while fishing before, well. Maybe not exact thing, but it was pretty cool

  • Nice plane and video. Beautiful deadstick landing.

    Thanks for posting

  • ????can an rc go super sonic?

  • @goobectomy

not legally. but a full mock up of a fighter jet with turbo jet engines? what do you think?

  • GREAT !!!VERY FAST.. HOW FAST IT GO??

  • nice landing!

  • yeeeez how fast does it go?! O.o

  • those things have a real growl to them. not like these little buzzing motors on an EDF jet. :P nice work

  • too cool! Sadly they are prohibited overhere, due to their noise and ridiculous speed.. They should use these in war-zones, the noise alone is enough to get you running for cover..heh...

  • AWESOME! Please get your cameraman a TRIPOD

  • WOW!

  • That was one fantastic landing, preceded by a keen-eyed flight! You've got the talent to back-up your ambitions. I know of you from way back, with articles in RCJI on turbine-powered Whittles. Good to see you're not resting on your laurels.

  • Stunning sound and she flies beautifully. Well done!

  • why are they on top of the plane and not build in side??

  • That thing is far cooler than it has any right to be. Now I want to make one...

  • This is the most sophisticated pulsjet RC plane I ever came across !

Hats off steve ;o) !! Great flying..

I have two small pulsejets two (not the same kind one to the other) but to get two even equal pulsejets running approx. on the same frequency... gee, this must be difficult to archieve !

  • That little dude can really haul the mail!

  • omg, coool , you shood put a tiny camra on youre plane

  • Awesome stuff,

awesome (double) sound, good camera man and very good pilot.

    Best regards

  • beast!!

  • awesome pilot!!

  • awsom flying, very nice landing, camera guy sucks though.

  • bravo!!

  • very nice work :D

  • Prostě paráda.

  • I have a feeling that could turn ugly real fast!

  • Very Very nice work !!

  • 2:03 Nice, King Landing 5/*****

  • Great work! Flying twin-engine can be difficult :D Is the landing gear retractable? I'm working on something similar with some friends and we're not sure if retractable landign gear is necessary/possible.

  • Yes, it is retractable!....quite possible. Only necessary if you have nice tarmac to fly off, bungee/ramp can be a pain!

  • @steve2839jet Nice Landing!! When you cut the power i though you were going to use a parachute or something

  • what would happen if you put a mouse in there?

  • I tried a Doppler program on the soundtrack and got 240mph on one of the high passes, the low flyby is "only" 200mph based on that method

  • hi, how are you getting the petrol/gasoline into the engines???, are you using a punp or some other method

  • No pump...just a venturi...just like a normal IC Carburettor.

  • cheers, if its not too much hassle could you give me details on how to do that?????

    thanks

  • The engines are not home made, but bought from Z-model in Italy....they are the best people to talk to....I just light the fires and fly the thing!

  • lol the camera guy is having a hard time:P

  • Very nice vid!

  • EXCELLENT..... PLANE and pilot are RIGHT OFF TAP,thanx for sharing vid.
