They are saying that Obama believe spending massive resources on senior citizens to extend their lives or better their quality of life for their short remaining years is not worth the government's dime. As populations age, living longer, more public money is needed for their care. The tax base providing this support is getting smaller and smaller. This is occurring in Europe, and America. It is simply not sustainable. Europe is cutting back on its social promises ( with more cuts to come) while America is still in the denial phase. As for the debt, may i remind you that China would never pull the plug on the nation which contributes to China's economic growth - the USA. Obama doesn't care about fixing health care. He just wants a government take over. One payer system is what he ultimately wanted. If he really wanted to fix the problem, he should have gone after the greedy lawyers, focusing on tort reform, higher deductible and more competittion between the insurance companies across state line.
BTW, he'd a small role in causing this mess with Accorn. He was the lead attorney in a lawsuit against Citibank, forcing it to give loans to the unqualified poor.

They are saying that Obama believe spending massive resources on senior citizens to extend their lives or better their quality of life for their short remaining years is not worth the government's dime. They could reform healtcare w/o spending anything by repealing laws that cut competition. Just allowing purchasing accross State line would give 17 million access to affordable care. As populations age, living longer, more public money is needed for their care. The tax base providing this support is getting smaller and smaller. This is occurring in Europe, and America. It is simply not sustainable. Europe is cutting back on its social promises ( with more cuts to come) while America is still in the denial phase. Also, as goverment grows personal freedoms tend to be constrained. It may not seem like much now, but give it time.

I think there can be intelligent contributions from both sides of the debate on issues like how to clean up the deficit, but I also think it's valid to say that certain politicians who left our country in poor shape shouldn't be the ones we look to as experts in determining how to fix things and certainly shouldn't be allowed to obstruct progress by endlessly complaining instead of looking for solutions.. That's all that's being said.

-Stop printing worthless money and pawning it off like it has value
-Stop all foreign aid to Israel
