You can play 4 players via a peripheral known as a multitap. Alot of sports games such as NBA jam supported this option!

And yes, NBA Jam is a very good game! Methinks I am going to pop this game into my SEGA Genesis this evening. =))

But wow, I didn't know people made multi taps for those systems! man, I'm tempted to go hunt some down now and see if I can get some 4 player action going. I'd love to record that!

NBA Jam is the bussiness. I used to rent the game as a kid and play for hours.

Kick ass man. I used to do the same having matches against my brother. Oh the countless times in one session I kept kicking his ass.  He was so pissed off. XD

I know how it is man, I love to shoot the 3's but they don't go in enough. To me the blocking was bad in this game, the computer just always made it. Seems like the comp makes comebacks easily too, and they let your 3's go in more when your behind. Nice "no good" into "YES!" LOL at your reaction to his dunk. Goaltending is when you touch the ball after it arcs, you gotta block while the ball is on the way up. That way Shaq doesn't become the best to ever play the game. :P Fun footage.

Oh cool! So that's what goal tending is. I oughta watch B Ball more often seeing as I enjoyed it at the time. Glad you enjoyed the video. :)

And yes, trying to block the computer turns into total BS.
