@ensoul15 it is not simply letting go of the index finger... it is called hammering.. where you quickly insert your finger while you strum... try to strum Cadd9 once without the index and then insert it quickly in the middle of the ringing chord..

Great cover, and I play guitar too, and to hammer on all u need to do is strum the string and put ur finger on it, but when u put ur finger on it, don't strum again
