lady at 3:35 needs to suck it up she fell like a foot and wasn't flung off like some of the other people. The dude at the end really pissed me off with smacking his horse, smacking a horse after a refusal is not going to help at all

Ok so i ride eventing, and i bet every single rider in that video that if they stayed back TILL the jump(like right until you take off) instead of like 5 strides before, that 3/4 of them, would NOT have fallen off! the hunter always lean forwrd way to early and have no momentum built up, so there horse refuses. i used to ride at a hunter barn (3 years ago) and im just saying thats what ive noticed from when they would fall. Just saying dont want to offend anybody.

well actually the rider was right for hitting his horse. if a hjorse refuses u give them a sharp whap with the stick. he should have only done it once, but other then that he was in the right.

i think one of the scariest parts of this video is the horse running around with its reigns over its neck at 3:07 cause i've seen some really bad accidents caused by that :S

guys it's ok to cry . it's ur bodys natural reaction when ur adrenalen is pumping and u are shaking. I am never scared of horses but even when i fall off and i get hurt i just cry sometimes . but i always get back on and finish what i am doing.

but when it's a small fall and i am not hurt i just sit and laugh xD

Want to feel sorry for horses go watch "Poisoned Horses" on YouTube. Water fluoridation not only caused these horses to become crippled but also changed their personalities. Watch how nice the horses are now. They used to be very angry but good water healed that brain injury. Sound like America today?

In the world of horses, it isn't IF you are going to get hurt,

it is a matter of when and how bad!

Every horse person who competes gets injured, EVERYONE, and if they don't, they haven't been doing it long enough or pushed themselves to the next level.

You don't CRY, you get back up and finish the course. I've been injured, have had three surgeries from horses, and let me tell ya, I'm no baby and I DON'T CRY.

To be serious about your sport, you suck it up, walk it off, and GET BACK ON.

I should say that there is one fall that did hurt. It might not be the one you are thinking of. A girl falls with her back against the fake wall. She was down for a few minutes eventually getting up and walking. She turned down the ambulance cart, but that one really hurt. She didn't cry though.

No, I have to feel bad, even for Miss whiner. I've had 2 shoulder suguries (sp?) from riding. AND a plate in my wrist..(next may be my head). It IS a dangerous sport, and not b/c I'm a bad rider. They were barn injuries, not on horseback, - & now the bane of my existence.

Yeah I shoot a lot of kids riding. You never know how that's going to turn out, but many are in their first ever competitions. Rule of thumb here is, expect the unexpected. Horse running along fine, kid falls off. No reason. Just does. haha At least they are rubbery and spring back up.

Yeah I wanted to give non-horse people a feel for the danger in this sport (just a lil). Lots of people think it's no big deal to ride. Heh, right! But yeah, the crying girl did get a little more airtime in this version than in the last version of this video I made. You already know the deal with crying girl from the comments on the last video. She was playing it up a bit. Well okay, a lot!
