  • so what is the price for somthing like this??

  • holy quick !

  • take that gt500 lovers

  • @Slash116ricky15 Oh Really ? 2013 gt500 650hp , Take that camaro poor lovers

  • @HaCKeRZyQ8

and considering how the previous gt500 had 540hp and was junk

that didn't turn well, didn't stop well, and couldn't ever put the power to the ground

    gt500=junk!

  • Dyno a Prius, so I can laugh.

  • I love these cars so much...I just missed my midterm watching videos on it and i cant make it up.

  • when i was in ohio i saw 98, and then when i lived in NC i pulled up to the pump and saw two pumps one had what we all see 85, 89, 93 and the other pump had 100 i was like what in the hell and this was back in 07 and it was 5.50 a gallon

  • @atlridder Hell, we have 83, 89, and 93 here in Indiana..... Only bad part is they are putting 10% ethanol in the fuel, if my car was designed to have ethanol burned in it, I wouldn't care but, its total bullshit.

  • @atlridder i used to live in ohio and at shell stations they sell 104

  • Illinois has 93 octane and gas city sells race gas.

  • 93 octane? wow we get up to 91, but nobody uses it except for sport bikes.

  • I've got 93octane here in FL...

  • Cool :-)

  • Cool :-)

  • Call Pratt & Miller and get some Carbon Fiber parts and cut some damn weight...

  • Here goes this crazy dyno again. Every single dyno video rates extremely high.

  • Wow it has over 600 whp but didnt manage a sub 4 sec 0-60 like the huge ctsv did with less hp?

  • @jipi0001 In another video that i saw, the 0-60 time for the zl1 was 3.2 seconds XD

  • @sledforpeace 3.2 sounds good unlike insidelines 4.3

  • in germany there is Aral Ultimate102 with 102 Octan , Shell has 100 Octan, it's called VPower Racing

  • Cool :-)

  • Amzing vid! that car is a moster

  • @russinfighter92 & @rsljit0708 thanks for showin how much u dont kno or listen.

  • @Dalit5

I'm pretty sure he is talking about pump gas. And in the US the headline octane rating is AKI (Anti-Knock Index) which is RON (Research Octane Number, used in Europe and the rest of the world) + MON (Motor Octane Number) devided by 2. This results in a 4-5 octane difference between RON and AKI.

  • @Dalit5

    would you mind explaning why

  • I have 93 octane in my state. it all depends on each states' emission laws and such.

  • ::::::::::::::0

  • 98 octane in australia ;)

  • united states of america, nice american musle, and its not $750,000,,its a whole lot less expensive, go usa

  • Comment removed

  • O M G!!!

  • so ur saying another 3 octane and it would gain 150 hp lmao add octane boost maybe ull fly out of the atmosphere

  • @russianfighter92 Um, no...750 at the crank minus 15% drivetrain loss is around 640hp to the wheels. Meaning it would gain about 30hp. Do people STILL not understand crank hp versus wheel hp?

  • @ambientflier lol most people don't, even many "car people"

  • @russianfighter92 I agree...just from running 93 in it is NOT going to make it gain 100 HP

  • @russianfighter92 617 whp = maybe 700ish at the crank. so yes using better octane could give it 750 hp.

learn the differnece between wheel and crank hp

  • @Johnyboy775 ur mother

  • GT-R is just an expensive Datsun

  • Those exhaust tips are just part of the diffuser not really the exhaust, inspired from the camaro concept

  • in saudi arabia we have both 91 & 95 ...and all the new Cars use the 95

  • 91 octane? i live in florida, and my car drinks 93 octane

  • 750??? is gm nuts???!!!

  • id rather the Henessey Zr1 Camaro it dont have those ugly tail pipes either

  • lmfao stupid GTR fans all they talk about is price try getting a GTR for 80K no dealer is gonna let it go that low

  • omg look at those exhaust tips!

  • GM ALWAYS TRYIN 2 SUPERCHARGE DA ENGINES SMH

  • how does the nissan gtr come up in the comments of every american car. we get it guys the gtr is fast and awesome but not everyone wants an awd car full of techno gadgets, some guys want a rwd good old fashioned cun car, oh btm the new Z06 is faster around the n-ring with a time of 7:22, since everyone wanted to say comparing a gtr to zr1 wasnt fair, now the prices are more comparable, lol that will piss people off, btw i like the gtr and vette, anything that fast i respect ,no matter the maker

  • If taken to the next level, say Top Fuel, how would a Nissan engine perform ?

What is the absolute maximum hp a Nissan GTR could make? Can a DOHC engine run in Top Fuel drag racing with solid cyl. heads? 8000 hp V-8's are pushrod engines? I can't wait to see an 8000 hp. + Nissan GTR pushing 8000 hp. +.I'm not pro Japanese or American, I just want massive hp. when I hit the pedal, anywhere, anytime. Well, not in the bathroom, if you please.

  • Those exhausts are straight out of NFS Underground.....

  • 750hp? Not 550?

BTW: This motor is a beast!

  • That car is 101,000

  • add a whole can of B12 carburetor cleaner to a full tank. that`ll up your octane rating... well maybe just 2/3 of a can... VERY flammable and it`ll clean your fuel system :)

  • we r all the 301 viewer again

  • how much is this car

  • Gtr should not be at all be put in the same sentence with, camaro, and mustangs. The gtr is not a muscle car,it has no manual shift, quite a bit of electronics that does the driving for you,and yes just like all the other foreign cars brought over to compete.AWD.....How fair would it be to place all wheel drive on a mustang,or camaro....I don't hate the gtr but ,it's not in this class of car.....

  • Only 91 octane?

    I use 95 and 98 in Europe.

  • @lffit

US and Euro octane are NOT the same.

    91 US = 95 Europe

  • @fesch03 I use 93 in Alabama..

  • @fesch03 so what is 98 europe compared to american fuels ?

  • @OlliTheKing95 i also hear the guy saying you have 94 octane, so europe doesn't have such high value of octane in their fuels ? if 98 is our highest and that is 93 american , 94 american is going to be like what, 99 octane ?

thnx for repyling so fast, i'm very intrested in cars and i'm trying to understand like everything, glad somebody don't hates me because i asked it ;)

  • @lffit in Denmark some places you can get 106 octane :)

  • @lffit

The octane rating isn't international, which is seriously confusion. Ofcourse America has to use a slightly different one.

  • @peterhejlejensen yes you are probably right!

But your muscle cars would surely go much better on a higher rating?

  • @lffit yeah north america SUCKS!! I wish we had 98. from what i know our highest used to be 94 (in Canada) but then Sunoco (my favorite) was bought out by Petro Canada, and now the highest octane we have is 91 :(

  • @NickTheDrivist they are also doing an 95 grade EC10 in France which is blended with ethanol, its slightly cheaper, but the problem is my 2 cars don't seem to be on the list of suitable cars, a (Jaguar 3 litre and a Mazda RX8) so in many stations mainly BP i have to buy the more expensive 98 grade, which is now about 1.60 Euros a litre.

I was in Australia last year, they seem to be selling all grades there.

  • @NickTheDrivist I live in Mississippi and we can get 93 octane available at nearly all gas stations. Very few have 91 octane. Of course, keep in mind that an engine's compression ratio determines whether or not you can make the most of higher octane fuels (although modern cars have anti-knock sensors that allow the engine's computer to adjust ignition timing accordingly).

  • @lffit in germany you even can get 102 octane fuel

  • @flexxx222 ...and where I lived in Texas you could as well..

    Point being?

  • @flexxx222 which model cars use this?

  • @lffit It's no a joke. That stuff is called "Aral Ultimate 102" and now it cost about 1,65 Euros per litre - 8.80 dollar per gallon (yes fuel is expensive in germany).

  • @flexxx222 same here in France I paid 1.61 a litre yesterday at BP for 98 grade.

  • @lffit

Another reason why your gasoline so expensive.

  • @lffit you have different octane ratings over there.

  • @xxGAMRxx yes..... never seen 91?

  • @lffit Your 98 is equal to our 93 in the US.

  • @xxGAMRxx ok thanks!

  • @lffit Lucky....

  • @lffit LISTEN MAN I USED 100 AND 105 OCTANE ON MY 300ZX BACK 4 YEARS AGO THAT YOU CAN STILL GET FROM CERTAIN GAS STATIONS IN NEW JERSEY NOW YOU GOT THAT

  • @supervegano why are you getting angry with me?

  • @lffit HAHAHAH

    ITS FREE

    IN MY HOME

    SAUDIA ARABIA MMMMMMMMOAH

  • Where in Europe do you live Iv heard it gets up to 100 octane in some places. I live in Las, Vegas and usually its only 91 octane but I have seen it 93. There are some of 93/95 stations in California every state is a little different. Back in the day I have seen it reach 107 octane. My 70 mustang use to run on leaded gas and the manual recommends no less the 101 octane/leaded fuel. 12:1 Compression

  • @1970351cmustang Now I don't know about Vegas, but I've seen 100 "no lead" octane in Ohio. You might want to check like sunoco or some place like that.

  • Ya they don't sell leaded fuel anymore unless you go to the airports they have some left for the historic planes. I use octane booster for my 70 but Iv never heard of a sunoco I usually fill up at Chevron. Thanks though if I ever see on here ill be sure to check it out.

  • @1970351cmustang Check out VP Racing Fuels web site, it's a good read on fuels and additives.

  • Wow America has crappy fuel! Wish HSV would put this engine in the E3 GTS!

  • cali sucks i know a couple of spots in NC where you can get 100 octane at the pump

  • @atlridder Yeah, I live in NC too and I can find 110.

  • @onenexus well im in GA and we can get 110 too but not at the pump i was up in Hickory and was gettin some gas and i was like 100 you have got to be kidding me and it was 5 bucks a gallon

  • @atlridder At the time the 110 was 8 bucks a gallon and it was at a standard gas station. It isn't everywhere but it's not that rare either.

  • @onenexus yeah thats cool my pops puts 105/93 mix in his bike the highest ive seen here in ga is 98 and that was down south of atlanta at an off beat station

  • just drop a katech engine in a regular camaro convertible and upgrade the suspension and aerodynamic bits and you have yourself a better car, or get the coupe and its even better lol

  • lost 135 horsepower? think thats a little much

  • @matdamond it makes 615 at the wheels. Not at the crank.

  • DAMN CALIFORNIAS 91 OCTANE!!! I have this same problem with my Lancer.. why dont we the good stuff here?\

  • Are they allowed to call it 'ZL1'? Oh, right, this is America, I keep forgetting.

  • this is a new youtube?!?! im very surprised!! to the new camaro... is this a sign?

  • @Igreen5 ummm yea it will. He's talking over 615 to the wheels, then he mentions it could make 750 to the FLYWHEEL (aka crank aka bhp, which car manufacturers always list over rwhp because it is a larger number) with 93. It is probably pushing close to 700 if not over 700 bhp at the crank on 91. Read up on ur car terms if u wanna trash this guy.

  • im a ford guy but this is BADASS.

  • Damn shitty bodykit they have added.

  • Is it me or shouldn't this Camo be faster to 60, the quarter mile? And, no, 611 hp doesn't equate to 750 on super premium.

  • @lgreen5 who ever thinks you can go from 611 to 750 on superpreium should just stop commenting.

  • @arashn89 You misunderstood, it was 617whp. He was talking about at the crank. "its not quite 750 at the crank but with higher octane" blah blah. I'm not sure if a few octane boost is worth 50+ hp.

  • @arashn89 ^^^ THANK YOU!!!!!! If that were the case my vette wouldn't be at 475 HP, it would be at 900...these ppl are dumb, its NOT that big of a difference, minimal really

  • like rest of the world !!

What about 95 octane<<<<daily use here

  • I m a fan of all cars, I dont know why in every video about cars, people tend to compare apples to oranges. wish there was a program to filter out stupid comments like those.

  • there is nothing more boring than videos of cars on dynos.

  • imagine 110 octaneeee

  • This has been Edmunds lately: Dynos, Dynos everywhere.

  • Muslce cars are back

  • Ricer exhausts much?

  • if i were to buy an american car, not that i would, i would buy a mustang, not a poorly built gm car. i respect mustangs because they put out good power but also good track numbers, unlike other american cars

  • @AviTheBlader The new gm cars arent poorly built. I may not like gm but there are some cars that are junk just like in EVERY car maker

  • @AviTheBlader Corvette ZR1?

  • @AviTheBlader look at every comparison video of the camaro vs the mustang. Also factor in the corvette z06 or zr1. Amazing american muscle cars all of them in their own way, but there are clear track winners and losers and the camaro beats the equivalent mustang model in just about every test. Seriously, search youtube for the motor trend challenger vs mustang vs camaro comparison.

  • @tripzero0 a 2011 mustang gt vs a 2011 Camaro SS. the mustang would win. so what are you talking about

  • @07Redstang theirs a 800hp mustang thats coming out..

  • @07Redstang you sure a mustang gt would win? Guess it depends on the race. try watch?v=r-uTjaQ6E7g maybe you are thinking of the gt 500 vs the Camaro SS?

  • @tripzero0 The new generation Camaro was faster than the 2010 mustang gt. But the new 5.0 liter engine in the 2011 gt's changed that.

  • @AviTheBlader I'm terribly sorry sir but the Corvette Zr1 and the Zo6 series has one of the most impressive numbers produced by American cars, hell make that worldwide. Zr1: Nurburgring: 7:19.6- Fastest FR, 7th fastest on the track and costs just over $115k, while the cars just ahead would cost at least twice as much.

Z06 Carbon: Nurburgring: 7:22.6- 3rd Fastest FR and 9th fastest ever recorded, costing a bit over $96k. You sir are an idiot, asshole as well as a homosexual!

  • that exhaust is just butt ass ugly :S

  • really? mod an 80k gtr to this price of the zl1 and itll blow this out of the water

  • @JDM4LlFE and a Nissan will outlive this thing by years on end because of good hand quality build instead of cheap plastic. Dont even wana talk about depreciation as well haha!

  • @JDM4LlFE

This video has nothing whatsoever to do with the GTR. "GTR is a better deal herp herp fucking derp" no one cares, stfu.

  • @JDM4LlFE i think a stock GTR will still blow this out

  • @randcs1954

    only in 1/4 mile

  • @JDM4LlFE I'd rather have the Camaro over the GTR.

  • @JDM4LlFE Except the ZL1 doesn't cost 80k to begin with dumbass! And the GT-R will always be a soulless tool that is as normal as a regular Nissan to drive.

  • @JDM4LlFE Dude, doesn't matter. People who want a Camaro aren't saying "Ya know, I kinda like this GT-R thing" they just want to have the fun of a fast as hell AMERICAN muscle car. Gtfo with that Japanese shit, it's good in it's own place, but this vid is American.

  • @JDM4LlFE really? mod an $500 Geo to this price of the GTR and it'll blow the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 out to space.

  • @JDM4LlFE Yes but the GT-R is shit.

  • @petrolhead229 in what way? for starters it looks way better than that ugly ass camaro. Its ugly to start off with, plus it hass those exhaust tips... ew

  • @JDM4LlFE its not shit, I just don't find it exciting at all and I find the ZR1 MUCH more exciting when looking at stats, the body and its blisteringly fast time around the Nurb. I dunno, I also get a feeling that Nissan are desperate to beat times and get awards to shove down everyone's throats which is irritating... But yeah the ZR1 would be much better than this 'Maro :P

  • @JDM4LlFE Who gives a shit? A bike costing a ton of money less is even faster than both of those would be so go suck some Japanese automaker cock someplace else.

  • @JDM4LlFE you dont even need to mod the GT-R if you saw the performance figures of this car, they dont even compare

  • @JDM4LlFE Or you could do the world a favor and pack the (actually) $95,000 GTR with explosives and do the world a big favor.

  • @buttnut1080 really? check nissan's website, its not 95k for a base. Even at that, buy one from last year or two years ago and spend 70k. Actually I think that the world, or even the country would prefer you, an ignorant redneck fuck, pack your overpriced plastic piece of shit camaro full of explosives.

  • @JDM4LlFE If anyone's ignorant, it's you for only juggling prices and performance ratios and over looking all the GTR's flaws like its interior, its ride, its looks, its broken vacum cleaner exhaust note, and the fact that driving it is as involving as having sex while wearing a suit of armor. By the way, I never said I'd take the camaro. For those prices, I'm either going Jag XKR or C63 Black Series Coupe. So you can keep your pig ugly robot car.

  • @buttnut1080 driving the GTR is like inseminating a woman with an eyedropper

  • @rocketballa4life Ha I guess that one's better than mine. Glad to see someone who agrees with me.

  • @JDM4LlFE you can mod anything to go fast u moron. sto p comparing an all out sports car to a muscle car.

  • @guitaristwagner see thats the thing... this car is a lame attempt to be a sports car. And I know you can mod anything to go fast. Even if you spent 10k in mods it costs less than the zl1

  • @JDM4LlFE Mod a 30K Mustang or Camaro to the price of a GTR and it will blow it out of the water. I mean it's 50K of upgrades : )

  • @ZR1Terror maybe in a straight line ;)

  • @JDM4LlFE Pfff, with $50k that computer box pig won't see the camaro's dust.

  • @ZR1Terror yea it actually would as much as i hate the gtr. besides everyone seems to forget this isnt a factory camaro. so gtr fanboys would be crying for the spec V shelby supersnake etc

  • How much is this camaro?

  • @cesarhidalgo23 I read its gonna be in the 55-60k and up range

  • So this thing is more powerful than a ZR1 , wow!

  • @jaysee5 fucken idiot can't you read??? ABOUT don't you know what that means?? And that's not even the poin ignorant piece of crap!!

  • It has over 600 hp on the wheel and you guys only managed a 0-60 time of only 4.3 sec in your test!!? ha?

  • @thugangel662 Traction issues!

  • @luimarco The Corvette ZR1 has traction issues too but it still gets a hell of better time than this car! i understand if it was a Mustang with a rear live axle but this car has an independent rear suspension which aids traction and also i saw a review of the same car on another video and it did the 0-60 time in 3.5 sec!! that why i don't get this video

  • @thugangel662 zr1 is quite a bit lighter too! Also much better tires. HP is only part of the acceleration equation. You need to factor in weight, drag, and of course, how the rubber meets the road.

  • @thugangel662 Some Drag tracks ( most of them) have Glue on them. that might explain it!

  • @thugangel662 Um...an irs tends to hurt the launch on a high powered car. Wheelhop. SOlid axles are actually better for that.

  • @Marshmallowrex :D lol don't you realize that Insideline can't test? check out motorweek's test, they did 0-60 in it in 3 seconds and 11.1 second 1/4 mile!

  • Goddamn sounds like a Corvette C6.R, well not quite but close. More accurately it sounds like a Corvette Z51 on steroids.

  • @princeofroyalty2 I agree!!!

  • So... 93 octane will give it about 137 hp??? Or if it's the flywheel about 90hp?? Interesting is it me? Or it sounds like BS

  • @cesarhidalgo23 Are you stupid or are you mixing up flywheel and wheel numbers? 750hp is the flywheel hp rating, so 93 would not give it 137 hp more because you don't subtract 617 from 750. 617+137 doesn't even add up to 750.

  • Thats...a lot of power

  • Corvette ZR1 or Camaro ZL1? They both cost about the same ,which one would you choose? Ill take the Vette any day.

  • looks like this thing can alterate the eart rotation whit that all power...
