Adenine is a very beautiful GSP. I remember my own dog Sirius at this age, always fooling around and trying to push his limits. My dog has just became 2 years now and he is trained for hunting. Well, he is still learning but doing very well at this point.

I have been working on this with Lilly but she is not really picking up on it very well. Plus, we are trying to also get her comfotable with her front paws being held and touched too so it has been a big hurdle weare trying to jump. Ill post a video response if I ever get her to do it tho :)

@ashleighmlapeer This one took me forever to teach. For the entire first week I did nothing but hold his leg up and coax him into taking a step. Then for the next week, I would occasionally let his leg hit the ground and withheld the reward. Slowly he started to understand that he had to hold his leg up on his own. But it just took a ton of patience.

@soonerfan237 yea I have been working on it for about a month now. She just isnt wanting to hold it up on her own. She insists on using my hand a her crutch and bears all her weight on me. I am going to try a higher value treat and see what that gets me. I know she will eventually get it but I want to move on to different things since this has been taking up all of my time. I will probably move on and try again at a later time with a fresh approach.
