hi mate ,great vids and review .i want to ask u ,can this amp do make the heavy vibrato ? like you put it on high gain and when u bend and vibrato the sound bcomes higher ?
watched a few of these quest for tone vis. Something I would like to see on these vids is the actual tone knob settings, and perhaps a little bit about how they affect the tone of that particular amp. Great vids, keep shredding!
The Quest for Tone featuring the.......ummmmmm......fucking Roland Microcube? What the fuck did you smoke before you made this kid? Nice playing but that amp is only good as a door stop! Exaggeration but anyways only good for room level late night wanking
@benwilshire wtf don,t get it. is this a PArady like my Grammer a self Proclaimed genius pedling product as oh can,t be bother,d troll .sorry to be a troll but thought you had to be guitar genius or a physics oh whatever i dont get you gormless ego man
figure of speech mate :P, my friend has one and i think it sounds pretty darn good for a little 2 watt solid state thing, i can't see a reason why to hate it..obviously its not gonna beat a marshall JCM800 for tone but what could u ask of it?
What i'm saying is, why would you get this, when you could get something like a Vox amplug (I'm not usually a fan of Vox). That Actually is pocket size, and you can either play it just for you through headphones, or connect a speaker to it and have it the same size, bigger or smaller than this.
I realise it wont match any Marshall (maybe the MG series..) but still, there are better things :)
Its his own guitar company called "Chapman Guitars". This particular model is the ML1 which is currently available from Andertons Music Store for £199 which is an absolute bargain as they are incredible:)
Umm i was using my gibson les paul into a crappy line 6 spider combo (not mine) with an AKG c1000 mic in front of it into Logic Pro 8. i used the DI for the bass and midi for the drums also in Logic Pro. Its not a great recording i can do better im working on recording stuff at the moment ive just got an imac an logic at home.
You could plug an electro acoustic into this amp and it would work just fine but roland do make an acoustic amplifier called the AC 33. That would probably be better suited.
Hey Ben, do you recommend this for bedroom practice? I can't decide between this cube or a Vox Amplug (which is only one amp model, but is also 60$ cheaper)
This is without doubt the best practice amp money can buy. It sounds brilliant and is very versatile. I use it in pretty much all videos and put it behind the camera and put the marshall on screen unplugged and some people dont even notice the difference!
@benwilshire- Thanks man, really helpful! I'll try one out this week- I'm sick of playing through my peavey tube amp. Too loud, awful tone; I've been practicing my electric guitar acoustically for as long as I can remember- I only plug in to jam :P
how calls the song at 3:10 minutes
