I had the experience of having to spit out parts of my own tooth two years ago. It's definitely not a fun one. It's even worse when there's a lot of blood, and stitches are later required.

@SherlotteR Sorry, that wasn't constructive. Generally in composition large gaps of empty space are a bad thing. Unless you're using the space for a purpose. Divide the frame into thirds vertically and horizontally, frame the subject's head so that it lies in one of the two upper intersections. Just google the rule of thirds.....
