  • I kinda wanted the Hangover to be on here but it's your opinion :D

  • avatar was way better than were the wild things are!

  • Nice!

  • I agree but i would have swicht

  • Here is mine What do you think

5.District 9: you said it all

4.Up in the air: Thank for smoking with a soul

3.Bad Lieutenant: Wtf did I just watch?

2.Bronson: Tom Hardy gives the best performance of the year and Nicolas Winding Refn is a mad man.

666.Anvil The story of the Anvil: Perfect just Perfect.

  • we think alike

  • look up The Greatest Movies Ever, the one by me. its really good

  • Bionic. lovley commentarys, but a suggestion: Why not play a trailer for each review, I reckon this would work much better than having a slide show of stills... None the less, good work. =D

  • As long as I don't get into copyright trouble, yeah I can do that next time or figure something out.

  • While i really liked Avatar in 3D (it was beautiful!), Coraline was way better in 3D. It was stunning =]

My Dad owned the Watchmen graphic novel and already loved it, he said the film was awesome, i've yet to see it.

I've also seen District 9 and i do rate it very highly, however i was suprised it wasn't an 18 (in the uk they rated it 15).

  • Here is my Top Ten Movies of 2009: 01. Avatar 02. District 9 03. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen 04. X-Men Origins: Wolverine 05. G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra 06. Law Abiding Citizen 07. Sorority Row 08. Zombieland 09. Up 10. Night at the Museum 2 Yeah you tell them about Transformers 2 which I thought was awesome and I saw it three times (once in IMAX and need I say more) and I have it on dvd, the 2 disc edition as well. You tell them!
  • Glad to see I wasn't the only one who liked X-Men origins, Law abiding citizen, and Night at the Museum 2.

  • @BionicSlime was is not 2 like about three great movies. In my opinion, Star Trek was overrated but was decent and 500 Days of Summer was terrible and where The wild things are wasnt that good, but that is my opinion.

  • I personaly don't HATE X-Men Origins, I just found it somewhat shallow overall. Could have been handled better and took away 99% of what Deadpool actualy was in a character. Theres taking liberties then theres using it in name only!

Other than that, I'd say it was decent.

  • The reason Deadpool looked like that because this was a test of how he would work. X-men is an ensemble film series and there's no way Deadpool could have worked better without taking up more screen time from everyone else.

By doing him this way, Fox now knows how popular he is and sees the test was successful after all, he's getting his own movie so if it wasn't for X-men origins, we may have never seen a Deadpool film come out of this.

  • Finally, your picks are absolutely incredible, and I 100% agree with you with Transformers 2! I love it and I do not care what anyone says, I really don't understand why its getting so much hate. Keep up the amazing work man!

  • I enjoyed this, but having seen most of the movies on the list, not many of them really effected me they way they seemed to effect you. I thought watchmen was good, Up was ok, and District 9 was innovative but too action filled. Avatar was pretty good, and would have been higher on my list, but even that wasn't fantastic. Good list, just surprised you loved so many of them so much.

    ~Lyzl

  • I never felt District 9 was that overly action filled in comparison with everything else in it and as I said this was my personal list. I don't expect everyone to agree with my list.

  • Hey BS,I was wondering if you could make a top 12 for anime of 2009?Just a thought ^^

  • I do intend on making a top 12 anime list for my personal favorites but a top anime list of 2009 would mean all anime that came out in 2009 and not every anime I have seen this year was made in the year 2009. But I do definitely plan on making a top 12 favorite anime list for myself.

  • Great list! You have proven yourself time and time again to really know your stuff when it comes to movies. It's just a shame I haven't seen all of those movies that you mentioned, considering I knew of all but 1. But this will be a change for 2010. I will be more active in seeing movies!

Great list and an all round fantastic year for movies.

  • Which one movie was that? And don't worry, just try and check the ones you didn't see out if you get the chance.

  • Brothers I think was the one I hadn't heard of. If I've got the name compleatly wrong, I'll check through the video again to get it right :P.

I will deffinatly check out Ponyo when I can. I'm a huge Studio Ghibli fan. They're the Pixar of anime, wouldn't you agree?

  • Yeah that sounds about right.

  • no Inglorious Bastards?

  • My thoughts exactly. Then again, I don't exactly share this guy's taste in movies across the board, so I shouldn't be *too* surprised.

Nice to see Gran Torino in there, definitely one of my favorites as well.

  • I thought about putting it on here but as much as I did enjoy that movie, my personal opinions just didn't feel it was one of the "best" of this year.
