No matter how complicated a japanese horror film is, i still think it's a thousand times better and scarier then the american ones because they are original and americans are only copying it even though they make more sense.

You can't really call it copying when Shimizu was the one that created both the Japanese and American films (apart from Grudge 3)

Secondly the Japanese films make just as much sense as the American films, it's just harder to wrap your head around it

Thirdly complication isn't a bad thing, it's what makes it better than the American films. The mystery of the Grudge is very appealing and the fact that it was left out in the US version makes the US version inferior

There' this list of the top 50 scariest movies. Ju-on got #2, I believe. It's not #1 but it's still pretty high up there. *nodnod* The song is very cute also, as is the girl.

I like all versions of Ju-On. It's such a good movie. Great story. Good acting with Kayako and Toshio. I can see why they had to get another boy to play Toshio in The Grudge 2 and The Grudge 3 but it sucks that a different actress played Kayako in The Grudge 3.

@KhloeVolturi JU-ON means a curse in japanese. Its a curse or grudge upon the house in the movie. Thats why people are dying everytime they enter the house, and any one else who comes in contact with that cursed person is cursed too. Thats how it spreads.

JUON: It is said that when a person dies in a grip of a powerful rage or sorrow, a curse is born. That curse gathers in that place of death and becomes a karma. Anyone who comes in contact with this curse will be consumed by its fury.
