  • I played this about three years ago when I was a junior in high school. This song oddly made me cry. It just made me super emotional. I was a flautist (Flute player for those of you who don't know the term) when I was in high school, and it just really touched me, and still does to this day. I believe I commented on this back when I was in high school.

  • FIRST TRUMPETS :D

  • How about a flute guy? Recognize that? Sorry-childhood book

  • i freaking love this song. its so beautiful btw, GO CLARINETS!!! lol. couldnt resist.

  • This is currently our warmup piece

  • played this for state place 1st in gold division. It is one of the more easier works i have played but verry difficult to make the whole band balance and stay harmonized through this work. by the way 1st clairnet ftw

  • french horns representt!!

  • Listening to this makes me cry....

  • Play in 7th grade band. 1st clarinet. Now in 9th grade marching band.

  • These trumpets are better than ours (by a lot. don't tell anyone in our band that, especially Kyle Murdoch.)

  • lulz, this was a warmup song for the band I played in freshman year. We used it to practice phrasing, and though it is fun to hear it, it isn't the same as if you were sitting in the section as it was performed.

  • our little band played this so well, IMO better than this recording, everyone felt something :)

  • GO CLARINETS which by da way is like da bands soloists

  • French horns please stand up :)

  • That is just beautiful....

  • 9 people don't have "Air" for band .

  • @kenidoo i know there's more than 3 saxes- but i was just refering to the saxes that are played in most

  • @Scooter10196 Good for you for being the only horn player in your band! I'm assuming, then, you have to play first horn for everything? I personally loved being 2nd horn, but that was just me. Yeah, french horns really don't get much credit at all XD

  • @souleaterlover11 Yea but sometime my teacher makes me play 2nd Horn Parts due to the fact that he thinks it sounds better but I feel like i have a lot of pressure on my Shoulders since he wants me to play out alot lol

Well, at least it is a nice break from our march and the boom-chucks we are blessed with.... XD Oh the sweet life of a French Horn Player.

  • @OkamiGohan i have first horn and its soooooo easy for this piece

  • @huskieboynava Well, at least it sounds nice. XD There wasn't much technically to this piece- it was moreso getting the shaping and atriculations uniform for us.

  • I love to see the clarinets being praised! ^.^

Well, I guess that's because I play clarinet.

This is such an emotional recording of 'Air For Band'; it is nearly perfect. I say nearly, because the percussion was eh. I have heard better percussion on this piece. Other than that, I have to say that it blew my mind!

  • @valandtweety ill bet the precus. is like that because of the quality of the recorder, which is wierd because the melodys/harmonies sound so beautifull. O.o
