Dislike of the so called "Islamic dress code" is nothing new.
I remember even before the Revolution in the Secondary School I went to, there were one or two girls (in a class of 30) who were forced to wear the chador by male members of their families, but they hated it .
As a result, the chador or scarf was mostly folded in their school bags and only came out 100 meters before they got home.
