  • Its funny this was one of the last of the greats. Music after this becgan to become only about the good feeling of consumerism. Kids today dont even realize that they are being brainwashed. Dont let yours become a sheep.

  • "My Favorite Dreams of you still wash ashore scraping though my head till I dont want to sleep anymore?"... I mean...

  • i'm looking for a good, loyal girl... in my school that's impossible, i've dated all the good ones, all two of them. they didn't like or care for me. i'm just sitting here, and i want something, i can never have... i'm only a kid, so it shouldn't be too bad in 3 years, should it? almost 18... grey skies, blue eyes, and black, reflective hair... that'd be the girl, if i could have it :\ i just want something... i can never have :\ (shallow, and a coward, label me)

  • EMOOOO haha, brilliant song

  • @meoldmucka123 There is nothing emo about this song :D

  • @flyboy2000008 Actually, all of Trent's songs are extremely full of emotion.

  • @silenceos1993 @MusicIsMyLifeXD100 i'm 12 and what is this

  • @silenos1993 Your age doesn't really matter, it's the emotions. You've probably been sixteen, too, and you may have been in love, too, but if somebody told you that you didn't know what love was at that age, wouldn't you be offended? It's rude to tell somebody what they can and can't feel; it's their heart.

  • I love you dylan rip sweety

  • im 31 and I just gotta say that either I still dont know what love is or I definitely knew at 16 because i just got out of a relationship that hurt as much as the one I lost at 16. Actually the 16 year old break up may have been even worse.

  • @silenos1993 Even so, the emotions of a 16 year-old may be beyond what their limited vocabulary can convey. I cannot say that I know what love is, but this song gives an emotion which I can comprehend. Not fully understand, but I can utterly comprehend the undercurrent of agitation and frustration hidden by a sea of calm. I cannot relate to it, but I can enjoy it. Must we all experience the same hurt to love NIN? I surely hope not.

  • I can relate to this song, the guy i am in love with wont be with me only because im 16 and hes 18....

  • @MusicIsMyLifeXD100 At 16 you have no idea what love is... Don't try acting like you are different then any other 16 year old and you actually do know what it feels like.

  • @silenos1993 I don't mean to offend your values or beliefs but i'm 17 and i can tell you that i do know what love is. and i also know the pain that comes with it. I've been to the depths of my mind; a void and formless abyss. And I fought every day of my life to get the thing i could never have. I even had it once; but now she's gone forever...

  • @phantasm40000 There's no need to worry about offending that dude, he's obviously just a jackass. I'm 38 & here's an interesting fact: every year you live things get a little less intense. Why? Because every day adds up, and things get 'less new'. So - year two of your life is one half of it, year 16 is a sixteenth of it and (like me) year 38 is only a thirty-eighth of it. I've never quite felt love (and the pain of the loss of it) as much as I did as a teenager.

  • @jmazuryk good point; plus noone can really tell someone how to feel anyway, and you know what they say about opinions.

  • @silenos1993 at 16 I was in love, the deepest relationship I have ever been in honestly. The greatest emotion I have ever experienced. Further into that relationship, childhood issues surfaced and I became depressed and angry at unresolved past problems. It consumed me, and I let it. It changed me, and I let it. A year and a half later, that girl and I broke up. The way I treated her, the way I treated me, the hole it has permanently left, that time is something I can never have back. Dont judge

  • @MusicIsMyLifeXD100 yea well thats what he says.

  • I really enjoy Trent's music very emotional song its just so amazing that it makes me wonder..

  • some of the most beautiful music I've ever heard

  • This song is purple. Yay synesthesia.

  • @HoomanOfTitus never understood how synethesia is impressive at all. To me it's green/blue. To me e is a yellow letter, but to others it's a blue one. Synesthesia is just having a few wires crossed in a certain way, it has nothing to do with reality (it's not a superpower as the discovery channel documentary real superhumans retardedly implies).

  • @ravenouscolonelhart How vivid are the colors when they happen? Is it just like a slight hue over your vision while the song is happening?

  • VoDkA

  • @Dudedog48

    Damn right, brother. Na' zdrowie.

  • @Dudedog48 and REB

  • @robkijktmee exactly

  • this song tears my heart to shreds of crimson red

  • @bkb0000 and u are a faggot

  • @kyuhide yeah, faggot.

  • @bkb0000 you sux

  • They had another version of this too

  • i am the One.

  • @bkb0000 Mr, Anderson... Always with delusions of grandeur.

  • @Brunnhilde1000

no seriously... i'm the One dislike.

  • 27,892 views, 0 dislikes...

    the way it should be

  • @mspsychofrenzy

So true, and so sad. Why are we so pathetic?

  • @whitedemon681 That's what I'm saying.

  • Still is a highly unrecognized masterpiece among NIN fans.

  • @frootloopwarriors i recognize it. have for years. i agree with you though.

  • @frootloopwarriors the last in is backwards get it right. some people. jk

  • im a 26 yr old young man and i had a muffin this morning.

  • haha im so pathetic. Fucking shape of my life

  • This song emotionally elucidates my battle with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome perfectly.

  • Natural Born Killers brought me to this song, though i didn't know of it till then, but I instantly recognized that it's NIN. Good song.

  • this song saved my life

  • Trent reminds me that we're all still just children. just as easily hurt. we're all still learning..

  • Seriously, the girls that end up hurting Trent must be under some serious voodoo power. Because anyone with a with a brain wouldn't dream of losing someone with such talent and beauty. Then again, we wouldn't get the pleasure of hearing his music if they didn't.

  • "You make all this go away.."

  • Como para cortarse las venas con pan integral xD

  • I know this is probably a really stupid question, but everytime I search for this album it's all live songs and they're different. Where is this collection of songs?

  • @VerticaDrums This is "Still", an EP of sorts released in 2002 to coincide with the "And All That Could Have Been" live DVD release. The album is a collection of acoustic (mostly) reworkings of old tracks and a few nice quiet ones.

  • This song, well, really, all NIN songs, are perfect. You just can't find emotion in other artists' work anymore. NIN, the best.....of everything, except this one girl, but she's probably something I can never have.

  • this song is 20 years old.. proving trent is timeless.

  • @3lements 9 years, bud.

  • something I can never have, her name is aleksandra.

  • @orbitalraindrops Go get her.

  • this is the primer

  • You make this all go away

When he says that, chills all over.

  • @lauebaker Thumbs up if you should leave. Thumbs down if you should leave in a cab driven by none other than GARY BUSEY!!

  • I love this song but the opening always makes me think I'm building a house in the sims 2.

  • @plugginjerkface completely agree

  • wow,....splendid!!!

  • This version is a massive rip of Swans' "In My Garden."

  • This would be better if it had drums and electric guitar to acompany it.

  • @CreepingBoNE im sure theres a mix somewhere that remedies that situation, along with all trents great slow sad songs, though he does mix massive mulitple versions of collections of his songs, though never found this one

  • @antisanity1 Thanks, I'll have a look :)

  • @CreepingBoNE TROLOLOLOOOLLOLOLOOOLOLOOLOLOL

  • Wow, had almost forgotten this one, probably my favourite NIN song, but its been about 10 years. Beautiful

  • @mortatheart 10 years... sigh try 15

  • somtimes i think that the end is here, then irelize its just begun. life sucks then u die.

  • @skuzy13 yep

  • NIN daa best

  • How Trent can just take me to a different place so quick is amazing to me.

  • All together now......YOU MAKE THIS ALL GO AWAY!

  • This makes me want to cry.

  • @yasminleveau me too

  • The Fragile: All That Could Have Been version is the best of all time!!!!!! It's so sad that the lyrics eat away at you and tear you apart. Just like this one. Fragile is still better though.

  • and all that could have been was like a fragile hate machine?

  • Didn't LP steal the piano sample from this track for "What I've Done"? This song is better, I just wanted to know if the above is accurate.

  • @dreadguy14 a lot of music sounds the same. maybe they were inspired by it. maybe they have no clue this song exists. point is no one knows and speculation leads to rumors.

  • @dreadguy14 im not sure but it is similar just in a higher pitch and faster tempo i think its about an octave or 2 higher

  • This is a great version of this song I feel so blessed to have been Beside Trent Reznor in time and have had the benefit of growing up listening to his genius..

  • i listen to this song too much, never gets old. no other song has more emotion than this. period.

  • Definitly a work of art. The passion in his voice is like wow.

  • Still may only be a bonus EP, but it is actually my favourite NIN record if it wasn't for The Fragile.

  • This Is Actually From Tha NIN Still Album... This Isn't On (Live: And All That Could Have Been) & This Piano Version Is Tha Best Ever...

  • @MychaelHelmz Still is an EP that was originally only available as a bonus disk from "And All That Could Have Been".

  • I still recall the taste of your tears.

Echoing your voice just like the ringing in my ears.

My favorite dreams of you still wash ashore.

Scraping through my head 'till I don't want to sleep anymore.

  • @mapia666 I hear that

  • 30490 views?! thats criminal, nine inch nails is pure gold

  • so sad and moving, simple and true, amazing lyrics, amazing music, incredible song

  • i love this song <3
