Hey.. just a question.

How many watt is ur heat lamp. I noticed it sits right on the top cover. Does it get too hot?

We use a 100 watt heat lamp and metal light holder does get hot but for some reason the metal mesh it sits on does not. It came together in a turtle kit and that is how they set it up. It works really well :)

Do you ever empty out the water and put new clean water in? Or does the filter keep on cleaning it so you dun have to clean the tank.. Just the filter?

I still have to empty the water regularly. The filter just helps keep it clean in between. Turtles produce a lot of waste so the water needs to be changed because the pH will change.
