  • why not just move out of the fucking place?

  • @guthixzq People move out immediately and are still ill for decades. Many have yet to regain their health back. Some move out and recover rather quickly. It all depends on your genetics. It's similar to tobacco.

  • People are finally realizing that their immediate environments can make them sick. To everyone that said "bullshit" get educated

  • this vid is bullshit , thats all folks its a trailer to watch their movie

  • What a contrived laod of rubbish.

  • I am experiencing this at my brothers house...Extreme weakness...Almost stroke like symptoms somtimes...Everything smells and taste the same...Bad eyes... I gotta get out of here

  • Well time to finally take my quarantine suit everywhere I go :)

  • What are the most common symptoms of mold exposure and how long does it take to recover? it only affects certain people correct?

  • @blanklabel1234567890 Some people are still ill after 10-12 years after leaving the environment that made them ill. Illness depends on what type of molds, what levels of exposure, how long one has been exposed, and the type of exposure. Yes, there are instances where 2 family members or co-workers fall ill and the other do not, or have milder symptoms. Most people NEVER recover fully.

  • I don't like how this (with the music included) is made to sound so scary.

I'm not saying mold isn't scary in certain circumstances but it sounds like a horror film or suspense film rather than a true life documentary..

  • @blanklabel1234567890 If you had ever lived any inkling of the lives these people have lived, or know someone who has been made ill from mold, then you would know just how scary and horrifying it is. Your comment is typical of someone who is not knowledgeable about what mold can do to you and your entire life, which is understandable.

  • ok i'm going back to my doc. I was DYING and i only now realize it. I had severe black mold in my basement apt in bristol, pa. i couldn't breathe. it was horrible. my doc blamed on smoking, but funny how now that i am out of there for 6mos, i'm feeling better yet i'm so afraid oft the long term affects. any advice b/c i will do wht i have to in order to get all the tenants on this. a lot of SICKLY ppl on oxygen there!

  • not something id mess around with check out the website

    molmasterpros . com

  • The CDC treats it as "harmless" unless you have "allergies" LOL

  • I live in an apartment and some tiles from the bath tub came loose. When I saw what was behind the tiles, I almost died. YES, black mold. SO much, the wall board behind the tile is completely compromised; to the point of poking through it with my fingers. How in the hell can I get stingy landlords to fix this? Do I need to get a lawyer? I live in Florida.

  • no ITS A ZERGLING A SMALLER TYPE OF ZERG

  • HELP ME !!!!! I have unknowingly had black mold in my schoolbag for about 2 weeks , and it's all over my school owned textbooks !!!! Do I spray the books down and throw put the bag?

  • Gosh i hope i never see or smell black mold and i might get more affected than everybody else since i'm allergic to mold it.

  • @Jessica141996 Very glad too hear it(: x

  • @Jessica141996 How're you doing? x

  • Looking forward to seeing this.

  • @Jessica141996 I'm sorry that you've been ill, but now you can leave and concentrate on getting well. Good luck to you!

  • hahaha! Mold is everywhere. we need it to live. Fact: right now you're breathing around 6 to 8,000 mold spores which is absolutely normal. Yes too much can cause side effects and can harm you (specially if its stachybotrys "black mold"), but its a very common thing. These people are crazy and need help mentally.

  • @DoOrDieSemperFi89 Yeah well explain this: for the last 3 years every time I go to my grandmother's house I get a runny nose, a cough, I have chronic sneezing, sore throat, a headache, my eyes itch and burn and I get hives. These symptoms last for a week to 10 days after I leave. Same symptoms these people experience. I am not crazy and do not need help mentally...Fact.

  • @aj22one ha are you serious? Sounds to me like really really really bad allergies.. Exact same symptoms I get if I dont get my allergy shots every month. How clean is her house? Does she have animals? Does she burn wood? Did you ever get tested for allergies??? Never said "you" or anyone else needs help except the people in the video.

  • @DoOrDieSemperFi89 No crap sherlock, it sounds like really bad allergies. Too bad I've been to her house several times over the years and only recently have had these problems. She doesn't own any animals, and doesn't burn wood, and I have been tested and don't have any allergies. Just curious, but where exactly did you get your medical degree?

  • @aj22one Listen. Those were all questions that I didnt know. Now I do... Well is your grandma sick? Cause if there just happens to be alot of mold in the house, she would get symptoms similar to what you get. Or at least some kind of reaction. If shes perfectly fine, then you have to be allergic to something there. Sorry, but you got to be...Im a Certified Mold Remediator under "MICRO", Insured and bonded in my business. You dont need a medical degree to use common sense.

  • @DoOrDieSemperFi89 There is something very strange about this whole conspiricy... But i've had this stuff in my room for ages. And its like as soon as you walk in the room, Close the door... You can feel it in the air. You start too feel like crap. Your scared too breathe because of these mind fearing videos... and results on google... I look like im dying... Soo is this really a no big dealer? I mean whatever happens, happens ... But its very bizzare.

  • Michael Roland Williams is following me on twitter!

  • Yikes! Check out our short on environmental illness and sick buildings at InsidersHealthTV. It's a bit scary that this is covered so seldom and that people don't recognize this as a problem. Will try to check this film out.

  • looks like a very interesting movie, i`d love to watch it

mold needs to be recognized as a problem!

  • Black Mold Exposure will be screening at Fall Indie Fest (Dallas/Ft. Worth) music and film festival at the Uptown Theatre on Main St. in Grand Prairie, TX Sunday Oct. 10, 3pm. Invite your friends and see you there! We would love to have your vote for Best Feature!

  • Throw away your bleach! Bible god provides this procedure for killing mildew:

To purify the house of mildew take 2 birds, cedar wood, scarlet yarn and hyssop. Kill one of the birds over fresh water in a clay pot. Then take the cedar wood, hyssop, scarlet yarn and the live bird, dip them into the blood of the dead bird and fresh water, and sprinkle the house 7 times. Then he is to release the live bird in the open fields outside the town. In this way it will be clean." [Leviticus. 14:48-53]

  • I am currently trying to diagnose an illness ive had for the last month... dizzy, brain fog, anxiety, head aches, loss of appetite.. I've had blood tests, EKG, brain scan... Doc say's I'm totally healthy....NOW... I can't make it through a day of work..

I did a pro-Lab air sample test next to a leaky window at work, which produced mold.. which i'm sending to the lab for analysis.. I am now very anxious to find out what my next step is for medical attention.. and what the cures are for this.

  • I thought I was losing my mind. I was bleeding though my nose and saw wavy lines and broke out in blisters all over body. My husband did not react, other than some usually bad headaches. It was when both dogs were hacking and I took to vet that I found it was vents, and it flared my symptoms.

  • I have black mould on my window frames next to wear i sleep ... O_O

  • Remember that not all "black mold" is the deadly kind(stachybotrys). Most of the time it is aspergillus, and while still bad for you health, and can cause infections if you are immunocompromised, is NOT deadly(except in *extremely* rare cases in the immunocompromised). If you see black mold growing, it's best to get it tested, but usually there is no need to freak out. Remember- black mold is a description, not a specific species.

  • Wow thank you!!!! I found out on my own that I was allergice to mold, and I can spot it due to a extremely quick reaction. As soon as I am exposed to any level of mold, my mouth gets this feeling, and this is the best way for me to explain it, like I ate a hot pepper and my teeth get the same reaction. My tongue has swollen up also, woke up gagging on it a few times. (I think I'm running out of space so I am posting this)

  • Today's Homes are built for for tomorrow's "landfills" - a nice word for dumps. These type houses are constructed the same as fast food - with materials used in the construction of trailers.

    - Tin, Chipboard, Plastic, & Foam,

put 'em together & what have you got,

somethin' that you can call - Home?

Far more protections govern the construction of a child's toy, the ingredients in Fruit Loops, & the construction of a vehicle - The Toyota recall.

    - A Home Builder recall... Never.

  • @Bauunternehmersaugt what is mold please? i'm french-speaking

  • (cont)

    4. Insulation (except closed cell foam): can stay wet for weeks.

    5. FHA/Central A.C. : Blows any contaminants all over the house. Mold can grow on the evaporator core. Radiators and radian heat are safer. Wall & window AC units can get moldy, but are easier to decontaminate. Any house with both heat and AC may have no safe place in its walls for a vapor barrier.

    6. Tight houses: If a house is really free of drafts, it should have a air-to-air heat exchanger to bring in outside air.

  • Here are the factors I blame the most for mold infestations:

1 Slow water leaks: easy to ignore until it's too late.

    2. Sheetrock: Most houses built after 1940 have it in some form; the paper grows mold much faster than wood.

    3. Vinyl siding: A less than perfect job lets water right into the wall and helps trap it there. Hard to tell if an installation is defective until it's too late. Brick or stucco over wood framing can be just as bad if installed badly.

  • Every house in which I've lived has had mold growth somewhere, but it's never caused a major problem. I think the reason is that none of these houses had central A.C., which often becomes a breeding ground for mold. They were also mostly heated by radiators, rather then FHA, which tends to blow spores from one room the the rest. I also make a point of sealing even minor gaps, cracks and leaks.

  • YOU NEED LAWS, OBVIOUSLY ITS NOT A PRIVATE THING WHEN SOMEONE IS DYING WITH LIFE LONG CONSEQUENCES, THE POLICE OR GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO HAVE A SET UP HELPING IMMEDIATELY VICTIMS OF SUCH, WHO IN THE MOMENT ARE MOSTLY NOT ABLE TO BREATHE OR EVEN EAT RIGHT AND SHOULD NOT RUN AROUND LOOKING FOR PRIVATE LAWYERS AND DOING MOLD TESTS AND PAY THEM THEMSELVES, ELSE, THE KARMA ON U.S. WONT BE LIFTED!...Greets

  • HEY! I AM A FILMMAKER FROM ABROAD, TO WHICH THIS HAPPENED AS A GUEST IN YOUR COUNTRY, WE NEED TO TALK! If you need help, I healed 99%. No medicine. Doctors wrong needles and meds, I near-died couple times, even cancer biops where done, no doctor said Im poisoned until I had to leave half dead back home...

  • @MysteryGardenProd PLease Email me at Vitriolicscrutny@aol.com How do you heal from this?

  • I've been dealing with this my whole life. I'm so alergic to all molds. My brand new home we had to leave it was causing serious health issues. Not just the issues of a brand ne home falling apart but water able to get in from the roof. Now I'm in a apartment and suffering from major alergy attacks from mold. Mold is a serious problem and all my years with mycology I know the seriousness of mold and the Dr's do not want to acknowledge it.

  • That was very dramatic!!...I don't even know how to take that in!

  • I lost everything because of mold and indoor pollutants that the slumlords knew about and covered up. I am still sick and need sinus surgery to hopefully stop my asthma. I hope that the God puts these people in hell for eternity for what they did to me and my family.

  • Found "black mold" under bathroom linoleum yesterday!

Some kind of split second trance happened a few hours after! Please post solutions!!!!

  • @moonbeaches What was the split second trance like? Can you describe what happened please?

  • what is this movie a comedy or about mold

  • can some one tell me whin this movie is comming out on dvd . thank you

  • Black mold happens mainly because of the construction industry's obsession with making energy efficient homes. Let me tell you something...if you have drafts in your home (leaky windows, doors, attics, not so great insulation, leaky ductwork) DON'T FIX THEM. If you ever have a watter issue ANYWHERE in your home, those leaks will relieve any moisture buildup in your home (will let your home breath) & it will stop mold growth...

I have been helping people with mold issues for over 10 years

  • very interesting...

  • yore not the only ones . my old farm house is loaded with black toxic mold . i can't be in dangerous black mold it can kill me. im allergic to mold. i was up in my old farm house cutting out carpet my eyes turned red my skin turned red and itchy. i for got whare im putting thangs. mold will give memory loss no joke . im staying out of there it been closed up foe 30 some years . and racoons live in the short cement basement i gota duck down half way to go into the base ment. smells very moldy .

  • This hit close to home for me. My husband and I have lost everything to mold. Our brand new home became so infested we were forced to abandon it almost 2 years ago. Our children were very sick and we still suffer from the effects today. Nobody really understands what it like unless it happens to them. Please see this movie and tell everyone. Many people are suffering and largely being ignored. Thank you Michael Roland!

  • i recently discovered the cause of my being sick for the past three months. the apartment i rent has a wall and air condition vent infested with black mold. the apt mngr has given me a hard time about moving me to a new apartment. i was curious what health effects you are still experiencing and how long you were exposed to the mold.

  • It's been 8 years and I'm still struggling with some problems. The faster you get out the better off you will be. Some people remove themselves from the mold and recover in a few days, a few weeks, a few years. It just depends on your biochemistry, the molds you are being exposed to, the level of exposure, how are you being exposure, how long are you being exposed. The health problems are also a huge variable depending on all of the above. Lot's of variables involved. Get out if you can.

  • whin dose this movie come out looks good . i got a farm house full of black mold its been closed up for 31 years . i hope to learn about dangerous mold . becuse my farm house is dangerous . i cut out carpet in that house i got itchey and for got where im putting thangs ...

  • chlorine dioxide, or MMS will totaly cure all health problems caused by mold very quickly, and its not expensive at all.

    very worth looking into

  • @mrchekky Damn! It is so good to see someone posting about MMS! Seriously, that makes me so happy. You're quite correct: chlorine dioxide will easily kill mold, in the house and in the body.

  • @mikeyroll We had a leak in our home of thousands of gallons of water before we noticed the blockwork being pushed outwards, we contacted our insurance who told us to get repairs priced wich we did and it came to 300,000 euro. they came back and said you can fix problem for 120,000. that was 3 years ago both our children were born into the house wich was new at the time major mold problem with three mould types. The children are sick mostly in winter when the heating is on.

  • @mikeyroll Our solicitor has told us this could drag on for years in court, we cant get a childrens doctor in Ireland that will say mould is dangerous in fact one said it is good for you because it is used in medecine. Have you any ideas what we can do.

  • @donald7193 Move out as soon as you can! You health is more important than anything else!

  • @crisco80

dude if your in an apartment with BLACK FUCKING MOLD, get the fuck outta there, take pics of the mold. get the landlord on video saying he wont move you, and FILE A LAWSUIT ! youll be reimbursed for what youve had to pay to move, break lease, ETC

  • When is it going to open in Detroit Michigan? And why isn't if free like Fariheit 911?

  • Michael Roland, producer, will post the premiere schedule for this movie - see this film and take everyone you know!

  • This film exposes the devastation to one's health and life that living in a moldy house or apartment, or occupying a moldy school or workplace can have. The doctors are ignorant of this because the CDC is not watching out for emerging illnesses like they are supposed to. One major announcement by them to the nation's physicians, such as was made with AIDS and SARS and solutions would start to flow forth. Now that there is a new head of most of our health agencies we can contact them and educate.

  • Excellent, well-done, professional and important information!

  • This was put together very well. Thank you so much for airing it to TRY and expose the truth about the black mold. There is so much truth to this story. The officials should be arrested in my case. They have broken the law! And this is breaking us; in every way possible. It's just WRONG!

  • I am in progress of Beginning a petition to lay on the Governments desk before this coming January 2009 in Washington. I will dedicate my life for this cause. Maybe this is my reason for being here now. It was too close a call for me / I guess It was not my time yet.
